I have just read through the Q&A with the BU representative, and all I can say is I think by quoting members of the BR word for word, may have done the anti-BU folks no favours. Including things like 'Do you stick your finger in your bellybutton, wiggle it around and then sniff your finger in delight?', terms like 'wools' and other daft little comments which were unnecessary for this occasion.

What you could have done is just edited the questions to give the detractors a bit more credibility..... Some of the questions are good, and are put across very well, but like the points I outline above, I'm surprised he even answered them, although seemingly (and good on him too) ignoring the petty little comments.

Nobody has a problem with the detractors, everyone's entitled to their opinion, but it would put them in a better light if you'd left those little unnecessary bits out.

And there were a few repetitive questions also......

Just my view on it, and I'd like to place my thanks to the BU rep for answering those questions in a professional manner, even when some of the questions were not particularly asked in the same manner.

The whole point of the exercise was to give a balanced view Editing peoples questions wouldn't have been balanced.

I would concur with The BU rep part

I actually don't mean for that post to come across as particularly aggressive as it did (to me anyway), in a way I'm trying to help out the Anti-BU folks....

I understand what you're saying in terms of being balanced, but are you also saying that there was a need to keep things like 'Do you stick your finger in your bellybutton, wiggle it around and then sniff your finger in delight?' in to keep it balanced?

    Yes

The BU have been accused of being idiots

I think these questions show a fair reflection of the anti BU people being of a similar ilk

And as i say editing anything would not then be seen as balanced.

Simon was aware of the questions and rightfully ignored the stupid ones.

Fair enough, and now I can see what you meant by keeping it balanced, good stuff.

I am basing this on them being clever enough to travel interstellar distances. I propose Tickets meets our potential overlords, as when they ask about our resources he will tell them it's a rubbish tip, mined hollow, on the brink of disaster.

Wouldn't have left the idiotic questions in myself, but what you say here is totally correct. The anti-bu on here (with a few welcomed exceptions) have hardly covered themselves in glory.

Slowly but surely, milky, you are turning my rile back into love.

The blue union has every right to express an opinion about the way the club is managed and to make suggestions about how to improve things. Have they ever done this? No. they are fools who have no idea about how to improve EFC's fortunes other than bashing our long-suffering chairman. We would all like to see EFC bought by a fairy godmother, but realists recognise that it’s unlikely to happen. So we have to try to come up with strategies to protect the club in very difficult circumstances. Blue Union have not offered a single intelligent suggestion to help us. What they have done is harm us.Attending a private meeting and then publishing a tape of that meeting is dishonest, ignorant and stupid. And that action alone tells us all we need to know about the B.U. and its allies. It’s done a great deal of harm already. I’ve no doubt Arteta was influenced by this to request a transfer. How many more players are now unsettled? Fellaini next?It will be harder to keep our players. It will be harder to get a fair transfer fee for them, and it will be harder to attract replacements to the club. This is obvious of course and you have to wonder why the B.U.'s can't see that.
Well its because stupidity, ignorance and a grasp of  reality dont go together.
