He was doing a lot more running than usual today to be fair, I reckon that had an effect on him.

He didn't get the ball in the box. At all. When you play Naismith and Mirallas as the wingers, he isn't going to get a supply. I'm fine with Mirallas on the right and Naismith supporting but anything else and he isn't going to get a chance.

He was rarely in the box to get it in the box. he kept going over to the wings to hold the ball up. Moyes has got to understand we don't need our striker chasing the ball that's why we play a 5 man midfield!

Not Jelavic's fault though, is it? Like I said, when you've got two strikers playing on the wing he's going to have to do the supporting rather then be supported.

He had an off day yesterday, was poor. Never passed to a blue if he managed to hold it which wasnt often. Looked off the pace and missed 2 chances you would have put your house on him scoring. It happens, just a bl00 dy nuisance it happened yesterday as we needed him to be on top form, he made our attacks poor. Has to be said though our free kicks (and we had a lot) delivery was p1 55 poor........in fact the best crosses came from Oviedo, but by then we were quite all over the shop as an attacking unit...

I wouldn't worry about Jelavic, he's a natural goal scorer and he could go and score 2 next week.

Howdy, Stranger!
