    thanks for the kind thoughts. altho he didnt go match in recent years took me to see everton for the first time in 69/70 bally and alex young were his players and weve still got his rattle which he had from his father it had give it to dixie painted on the side of it at one point and always got repainted with the next number 9 on it, the last one painted on it was give it to joey after joe royle, couldnt take it now there huge wooden things and so loud, i couldnt imagine the noise at goodison with 1000s of them being used, would love to of heard the sound inside goodison with 1000s of them rattling away. he travelled home and away in the 60s with his 2 brothers and other family members in a blue and white mini bus which his younger brother painted everton on the side and spelt it eveton lol , he had so many memories and great storys of his and his brothers times at the match :)
