I think Everton would of signed him by now if it was that easy. If he wants to stay then he would of signed months ago. Shame really.

Contract negoatiations have been going on for far too long,

The club should set him a date to get the contract signed by.  and if he doesent sign, offer him to clubs.

we may feel he's worth close to 30m......but his contract is running down & we're broke, so we'll do well to recoup our 15m sadly.......

think he will wait until the summer to see which direction the club is heading.

By next summer you are looking at 10m tops, in reality around 6-8m, as just 6 months later he can sign a pre contract with any club in europe.  i cant see any of the top7 willing to splash out money on him, as its been stated he isnt the most mobile player, and I dont think he would suit the style of play the top7 play with.

If he is thinking about this in a financial point of view the best thing for him to do, would be to run his contract down, and sign for free, he would get several hundred thousand signing on fee aswell as a long contract with massive wages.

We are a top 7 team as proven last year.

I wish sometimes you would think before you post

how will he get massive wages ,you've just said non of the top '7' teams would want him cos he isnt the most mobile, if they aint going to splash a transfer fee, they aint going to splash 'big' wages.....and if he isnt losing out financially, if he's on 3ok a week now, and has been offered 60k a week that lad will lose about2 million quid over the next 18 months, but hey ho, he will pick up 500,000 with a signing on fee and but the top clubs wont pay him big wages.

Wish you supported someone like Wrexham, then you wouldnt have anyone to say SELL HIM. Unless that is of course your cunning plan, to support a club of no marks. looking for promotion each year and buying players that are old and pass their sell by date. You cunning man KM. Well something that begins with cun.............................. ;))

Trust you to comment and turn a positive thread into a negative one. Contract negotiations take time, we don't know why but I can think of many contract negotiations that have taken longer than expected.
