    if they were at the game they would have seen by far he was easily the best player on the park for either team..head and shoulders the best...

    if they hadn't have had him... they would have been very poor indeed.....he was their only driving and attacking force...

    if they'd have had a decent forward thye'd have battered bburn....

    They had 3 shots at goal all night and 51% possession apparently, if Barkley was the driving force then he's in a Skoda.

    well not in my opinion it didn't..he hadn't of been there they'd have been a total bag of....

    your obviously not used to the crying ways of the average dee da...

    very smilar to a lot of people on here actually when they bemoan our players..

    Don't get me wrong, i want him to succeed. I don't remember Beckham being stand out at Preston but he learnt from it, as i hope Barkley is. I'm quite happy for him to make his mistakes for Weds and then come back better for it. And it will take more than a month to get used to his (less talented) team mates style of play.

    dont forget these are two very average sides we are talking about here not barca and madrid....

    he was outstanding (as in head and shoulders better than the rest)...in this game...for an 18 year old against premier experienced opposition...he did very well.... in mine (and others) opinion...
