"Always wanted to give Billy a chance"

i think that bily will need a run of games to restore his confidence as much as anything. he hasnt had much match time for two seasons. if we can't use him we should sell.

Without Arteta and Dranthe now in maybe he will come into the middle for a bit. Agree he shows potential but not as a winger. Offers something different to Osman and Cahill who normally play that role. Glad to see Fellaini as Def Mid as this is where he plays best.

I feel Rodwell is not playing well and getting therefore getting a bit of stick but he to is always out of position especially if he is a future Central Def. Why is he attacking mid/wide man

The problem I see with Billy is he isnt on the same page as his teammates and it frustrates him.  Billy should be allowed to work the middle and grow a bit.  I'd be interested in seeing barkley, felliani, and billy in the middle (assuming we insist on staying in a 4-5-1).  All 3 have great feet.

blame moyes?? are you joking, the lad is a professional footballer, his performances should be better and he should be able to play out there being left footed etc, no excuse

So by your reckoning any professional footballer should be able to play anywhere? Do you even know the game? Howard has go a great right foot, lets play him on the wing!

    Tool!

    It's not even the cost
We needed someone to come in and replace Arteta when he was injured coz we were pretty clueless without him 2 years ago - and Moyes buys bily, and puts him wide left...one of the positions we least needed a player for!

To be honest, I don't know whether it's just me, but I never think he got up to the pace of the English game. He always either seemed to never be able to play well, or have one good game and look positively nackered the next. You can see it in his tracking back too, I'd be well **** if I was Baines playing with someone like that in front of me.

That said, I never realised until quite recently that he was a natural AMC. However, the way things go around here, no one will get a sniff with Cahill playing there.

Maybe he would do better playing off the striker, but he played on the wing for Lokomotiv Moscow. He is a professional footballer, therefore he should be able to do a decent job wherever he plays. I can never understand people who say he hasn't been given a chance, he has been here for 2 years. How long does he want? This lad cost us £9M and he is in his third year at the club and is still not performing well on a regular basis.
