    Starting to look like saha's career is over......he talked about having a great summer's training & treatment, and he's still crocked...

    said it a million times......he only plays 1/2 a season....he should of stayed on a pay as you play deal....

    he's only ever good for half a season and then usually as a sub. pity, he's got the talent.

    i'd doubt it..... even if he is, he won't be match fit, or anywhere close to being match fit....he's reached the stage now where he can't even play long enough to build up a decent fitness level.....

    and if he was ready for next saturday, who would you drop off the bench for him?.....Denis has to be there, why else sign him. Vellios deserves to be there, and needs to be given match time now to see how he progresses.

    Louis Saha, Injury: Unknown,  Expected return: Unknown
    and then i read this...

    "FA defends secret bans on players failing tests for recreational drugs"
    "The FA will argue that the vast majority of those who fail tests for cocaine and cannabis are young players whose names should remain confidential in order to give them the best chance of rehabilitation. The programme said it had seen details revealing the identities of "dozens" of players, whose failed tests are listed on the UK Anti-Doping website but whose names remain confidential."

    disappointing to hear how Saha stormed out of Goodison on saturday, and worse that he refused to play in the reserves last wednesday.....poor attitude......as i said, i think the writing is on the wall for his career anyways, but he's made great money from our club and should be showing more respect than that......

    They are trying to protect the young players in academies so their careers aren't ruined because of their stupidity. If it was a experienced prem player they wouldn't protect them. Remember Mutu and Gary O'Conner?

    Refusing to play...i.e. refusing to do his job, is a sackable offence. So if he really is finished, sack him!

    To be fair, I don't blame Saha for not wanting to play in the reserves.

    He knows his knees have the tensile strength of a melted mars bar. Why he would want to risk them in a reserve game I don't know?
