never understand when we have bought a player to add something different that people are then waiting to jump and say it isn't working or his attitude is bad. There isn't a player out there that does everything right around the box every time. Look at Ronaldo in the Euros. Nobody else was delivering anything in the way of incisive passing, shooting or crossing in the area. He was stil the one for me who looked like he could produce something when we are off form and he worked more effectively off the ball than the players in the team who were there just to do that

FFS give the lad a break. He's a young lad playing with..strange players, in a strange team, in a strange league, in a strange country.....

oh hang on !!!..... HE SHOULD BE INSATNTLY BRILLIANT !!

    again FFS......

Didnt say he should be brilliant instantly, yesterday was a bad performance by him. No final ball, got tackled alot, gave possession away, commited fouls. Im sure he will bounce back next week

started out of position...lost his way a bit..no options inside for him..moved up just behind jela gave better options...then down to 10 had to defend more which is obviously not his game...

so all of the above can only be expected really..

Don't understand why he was played on the left really.

Him and Coleman looked to be getting it together on the right and Vic would have been more effective up front and why push Pienaar infield when he and Baines are so effective out wide.

I know you need to mix it up to avoid predictability but it quickly became obvious that it wasn't working so why not switch back to the tried and tested

He switched him into a more attacking role but I thought he's been best playing on the right.

Would have preferred to see vic pushed up as lone striker and I'm not convinced Naismith adds anything although his work rate is very good

agree with naismith although giving the lad the benefit of the doubt because of his long time out the game..

So if Fellaini and Gibson are out and with pienaar banned, what would be your 11 for the Derby?

    Howard
    Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines

    Neville
    Hitzelsberger?

    Mirallas Osman Gueye

    Jelavic

Ideally would love fellaini back in place of either nev or hitzelsberger and like to see gibson on bench but surely won't start because of match fitness.

Hibbo playing under 21's this morning so may be back if moyes feels he wants more defensively. Depends who he thinks can handle that fast little ba$tard Sterling

i'd have moyes in centre midfield before neville...

Yeah but unfortunately he's all we have at the moment.

Don't trust him with the ball.

Gibson will be welcome back for just that reason. He calms the whole thing down because the defence know he's always looking for the ball and can do something with it.

Still love Nev but he's just not a good enough CM

he's been great for us from day one and although moyes deserves the plaudits for what everton has achieved over the last 10 years...neville has to respected as a major influence on that too..

unfortunately on the field..his day seems to have come...just my opinion...

Hibbert will play the derby guranteed, meaning Coleman will play right mid. Team will be:

    Howard
    Hibbert Jags Distin Baines
    Neville
    Coleman Osman Mirallas
    Anichebe Jelavic

Cant see Lucas playing even if he does return from injury. Im not concerned about their midfield, but im certainly concerned with ours if we are missing gibson and fellaini.
