It does seem to be verging on the point of 'getting your name in the paper'. The authorities, media, and fans have gone mental over the racism cases, so to think no-one cares, or it is disregarded seems a weak stance. Names in papers.

Why the controversy? It's a f*cking t-shirt. Screw both racism and the anti-racism movement. It isn't working and it never will.

I await John Barnes' stance on it. Got sacked by the Jamaican FA because they didnt want a black manager.

The lad has his own opinions and it doesn't make you racist for not wearing the shirt, just disagree with the movement which has been ineffective. But if not wearing a t shirt makes you racist then have a word with the Swansea and Wigan teams who chose not to wear them or Lescott who hasn't worn one since the lack of action on Emre.

Exactly. Wearing a t-shirt isn't going to do anything. It just sugar-coats the situation and makes it seem like FIFA (or whoever) are doing something about it.
