    When he first got there, he looked like he was out of his depth.


    But now he says he is coming into his own, finding his feet, the role just behind the 2 strikers is suiting him and he's starting to look the business, picking his passes and making things happen.....

    Good on the lad.
    It's what he needs, a good run of 1st team football.
    He is a cracking young player, but still a bit naive.
    Can only do him good.

    Good to hear, but what it does show is that the hype around him was not waranted. He's a good player who is in need of a lot of learning, not the Rooney type article or like some of these other kids who are straight into Prem teams, he obviously needs a lot more than them...

    it took osman a while to be a regular in the first team ..he went on loan to derby for a while, didnt do him any harm!

    Perfect example, only thing is Osman didnt have any hype or expectancy whatsoever about him, so shows which catagory Barkley should have been in...

    if we get another Osman i'll be very happy. a player who would benefit the first team without the whole world coming in for him :p
