Thousands march against austerity

    "Trade unions have called for a general strike after tens of thousands of people marched through central London to protest against the government’s austerity spending cuts."

    its also been revealed that multi nationals in the UK have avoided paying up to 40 billion in taxes. if these taxes had been paid the UK would not even be in debt.


    "Starbucks and tax: it's time for MPs to wake up and smell the coffee.

    US senator Carl Levin could still claim recently that multinationals "engage in shams and gimmicks to avoid paying the taxes they owe". And that was the charge levelled at Starbucks UK last week, which became the latest target of fury, following Amazon and Google, for paying derisory levels of tax in the UK."

    there slogan should be: 'We dont pay taxes so that you can.'

    is it time to boycott companies that are impoverishing the nation?

    hard to know where you would start and finish if you did boycott them, they have fingers everywhere, would prefer to see organised cheaper alternatives but you still see these places shut down for no reason. Tesco even have hand in town planning nowadays.
