Dropped 7 points without him. Maybe we wouldn't have dropped any if we had him?

someone commented on it "Is it a boy or a girl?". A bit funny though.

the first Newcastle goal and second Wigan one may not have happened, but think it was poor play around box against wba. more importantly though even teams we were taking apart like sthampton and swansea created too many clear cut chances without him. feels a bit spoilt moaning about it when been waiting to play more exciting football for years, but its not question of being negative just playing someone who understands the role and having useful cover if he is out. will keep the more attack minded players confident knowing every ball played through our midfield isn't automatically a threat. he has to play in derby even if its his first game back

unless he was the linesman against Newcastle, or the referee against wigan, then there's not much difference he would have made to those 4 points lost......

but we have missed him, and we'll be a better team with him back (largely because Neville won't be in midfield anymore)

that is main thing, Gibson for Neville will mean a lot more possession. What do we do about cover though at Xmas. A youngster who may fill the role in future, competent journeyman type who doesn't mind sitting on bench most of season or someone who can play really well there but in number of roles. definitely prefer the last one

Hopefully he will be fully fit for the derby.

I hear that he will be back for the squad for QPR which is good news, probably won't start but with Hibbert also back we look fairly strong for the game. Everyone back for the derby.
