So how much have we saved on wages?

    since january??

    OUT - pienaar, vaughan, yobo, yakubu, arteta, beckford, turner,

    IN - denis and drenthe on loan.

    no-one knows for sure what players are on but, if previous reports are anything to go by then - arteta 75k, yobo 40k, yakubu 50k, pienaar 30k, vaughan, 15k, beckford 15k.

    thats not me having a stab in the dark, it really is what papers etc have quoted. so all in all, 225k. thats a lot of money off the bill. with bonuses etc, your looking at nearly 1 million a month. thats staggering!
    that must surely put us back in the black and give us a good grip on uefa's financial fair play rule that will soon come in. drenthe and denis cant be on loads and to top it all off, we have kept the core of our squad together.
    so when i hear bell-ends like micky quinn on talksport saying things like 'everton could go down' im like ''wtf!'' how??????

    Drenthe is on about 40k a week I think, not sure about Denis. We should still have some money being saved every month that we could potentially but towards some new transfers. But I imagine a lot of the Arteta money, and some of this, will go to the bank.

    Even between now and Jan that should put us in a much healthier position. Kenwright himself said, I think when we bought Fellaini, that it's not just about the transfer fee. It's a but like the budget slider in FM, though luckily Moyes doesn't issue stroppy ultimatums like me.





    he also hasn't won three European cups either though.

    it just makes me laugh how a lot of the media think that we are now relegation fodder because arteta has gone, and because the banks are about to close us down.
    in reality, considering that they are all ment to be seasoned sports journo's, they havnt got a clue what they are on about. arteta had been a passenger for two years and we are pretty safe financially
