I have been a blue all my life, the ups and downs, the many times we had a manager or players who really didn't care, the times supporters where happy just to be in the top half of the league! BUT today I am ashamed of loads of my fellow blues............what the hell are you protesting about! really!!!! is it because we have a crap manger who dosen't give a toss, is it because we where almost relegated last season, is it because we sold all are best players (coleman, Baines, Barkley, Jags), is it because are owner isn't even a fan and has plunged us into £100 millions in debt, NO NO NO none of the above, it's because Evertons biggest fan and saviour in many ways (altough some of you conveniently forget when we ALL loved Bill) can't magic up an arab buyer to give £300 million and take the clubs soul in return(man city) oh and also bcause Moyes made the wise decision of selling 2 below average strikers and a past his best spaniard, with a nice personality for a bloomin good price!

So you who plan to Demo, get over yourselves! Kenwright and Moyes have managed to sneakily get us 2 really good prospects, without payin a penny or have other clubs steal em in the transfer window, it's no surpirse that they both only happened late on, this was to stop other clubs interest in these players and starting bidding wars.

See the bigger picture people, nobody cares more about Everton than Bill Kenwright, he works tirelessly for our club, he fully supports our great manager, he puts up with A LOT of flack, most owners who got that abuse wouldn't even turn up at the match. So I ask you Kenwright haters, read this article below and have a really good think about wether or not you have anything to bitch about!!

there' nothing wrong with a peaceful demo, fans are just voicing there concern for the club, they want answers, iam a fan of kenwright, he's a massive blue, no denying that, but some times a kick up the backside does everyone the world of good, fans could vote with there feet, and stay away, then the clubs in trouble, so lets see how things go today, get the result on the pitch, which is the most important thing of all, if anything should get the juices flowing for a terrific atomsphere, 2-1 the blues.

Problem is Ray, Demo's never work for the good, they just breed negativity amongst fans, show the new players the fans aren't behind them and tell other clubs we are weak, it never did any good for man utd or across the park!

But I do agree a good result today would help a lot, infact a few good wins and all we be forgiven :)

with any luck, the players will feed on it and turn in a great performance to prove to everyone that what happens on the pitch, is what really counts

To be fair, I thought that article was brilliant, and a great insight into what Kenwright sees. I still want him to sell the club, because he's not big enough to take it forward, but I wouldn't go as far as starting rumours, sending him things and saying things like that.

They're not against Kenwright, but they demand a new board and the sale of the club. does that not mean.... Kenwright out?

I really feel for the bloke.

Just because someone is passionate about something does not necessarily mean that they are the right person for the job. BK love of Everton can not be called into question but his failure to land new investment can. The stadium situation is the real stumbling block to new investment, unfortunatly.

Well said mate, I agree with everything you've stated here, The BK interveiw seems very honest and from the heart to me but I think the blue onions will read between the lines and make their own storeys up.
This can't go on it's splitting Evertonians up, over rumour and hear say about nothing?
The man is a True Blue Evertonian like the rest of us, who want's CHANGE,, BUT for the good of the Club not just because we're fed up, cos we haven't bought anybody or we're skint. Getting someone with billions of pounds, who doesn't even know that Everton is in the city of Liverpool may not be the answer???

100% in support with all your points hh-efc infact came on to write something similar.

Trying to keep an open mind I have read BU letters and although the tone has improved and are now presenting themselves better I still don't know what they want?

People keep asking for him to tell them how much the club is valued at? He cannot and should not tell us otherwise I for one will question his business ability. I cannot understand why people are stupid enough to think he should publicise this.

Secondly they want an interim board? Why it is a cost and in the current global crisis could be trying to sell it for a long time.

I want new owners but they have to be right. In BK reign Everton have improved massively and our squad has strong players. Infact it is the success that DM has had that we now compare ourselves to the top 4 and no the Sheffield Uniteds, Wimbledons, Oldhams that we battle with under Joe Royale.

It is too early in the season to destroy the morale of the club and that is exactly what BU is doing. I remember the year we finished 4th and at the start of the season people where protesting against CM and wanting him out but BK publicly supported him.

Lets stop this pathetic witch hunt and give the team a chance because there is nothing any money can do now.

If the Blue Union don't agree with the present situation then they should march in protest down at the English FA headquarters. The Premier League has become a complete farce by the EFA allowing wealthy foreigners to come in and buy up all the top clubs making the entire season of football a foregone conclusion while the remaining clubs strive to maintain their existence just to make up the fixture list. There's never a word from the EFA or from FIFA for that matter on the status quo, which if it continues threatens to destroy the Premier League altogether especially in these poor economic times.

Maybe, and this is just one possible solution, but once again it hinges on the present fiscal dilemma, and that would be for Liverpool FC, if they ever get to see their new Stanley Park stadium get off the ground, sell Anfield to Everton FC instead of razing it to the ground. Surely if it comes down to what the space of a stadium realizes in terms of what it is worth to developers, then the assessed value of one should offset the assessed value of the other.

Think of it in terms of what is good for the City of Liverpool and ALL its football fans. Rivalry is one thing in the spirit of competition, and to those who would consider themselves fans of the sport petty hatred should not even come into the scenario. It's the only way the two Liverpudlian teams can compete with the likes of the two Mancunian teams. And to those Liverpool FC fans who would not agree to such a proposal they would do well to recognize that it was their involvement in the 1985 Heysel disaster that put paid to Everton fan's aspirations when they sought the same kind of success that they had enjoyed and continue to enjoy to this day. One might say that they owe it to Everton fans.

I was always taught that Sport, unlike War, was the meeting of adversaries, but waged on equal footing, despite what the EFA considers to be the acceptable norm from their perspective these days. We can't just stand by and accept that our sport has become a business and as such the 'dog eat dog' principles become the standard. The world of commerce is licking its collective wounds today as a result of their avarice and disdain for ethical practices, and so a way has to be found to prevent the same kind of damage affecting the sport of football. The "I care not but for thee, Jack, for I am in good stead"
stance is not only anathema to the sporting world but unlike an ill wind will do nobody any good.

Totaly agree with you HH and I have been saying the same thing for sometime now. If they get 500 today on the "Demo" that will be about 4% of the fans that go today, not the voice of all as most Everton fans know how hard Bill works for the club. These clown are the ones discrasing our great club, lets face it football is a buisness and we just happen to support that buisness, when they ask all the time what is going on and they dig up there answers they are letting everyone else know we are in trouble. What Bank, financial institution wants to invest in a buisness in trouble, non as you can see and these muppets are putting it all out there for everyone to see, clowns. These are probably the same people who wanted to block the stadium move which again means we are not an attractive proposition for sale.
The sooner they start showing a bit more respect to Bill Kenwright the better for all concerned in my opinion
