A plea for respect from all sides

    I realise that the issue of BU is getting heated on this and other forums. I know there is a lot of emotion on both sides. As a previous supporter of DK, I know to my personal cost the hatred and bad manners that fellow Evertonians can heap on you.

    But I simply urge everyone to be civil in our tone of language and discussion.

    We don't have to belittle people simply because we don't like their views.

    The consequences is to create further division amongst the fan base.

    I'm not asking is to gather under one banner, not going to happen.

    I'm simply asking that we agree to disagree to put our arguments without the insults.

    PS. No, I'm not a plant or a mod. I'm just someone who has had bad experiences simply becuase I dared to disagree with someone else.

    i cant see anything getting out of hand. im not a supporter of BU but i can imagine the last thing they want, is for it all to kick off.

    i reckon there will be some good banter between non bu evertonians and the bu tho......

    wenever there is a protest there always a militant element, who look to sensationalise things, the wrong words to the wrong person at the wrong time and there can be trouble, i hope not and its all done in a dignified way, i just got an edgy feeling about this today.

    we do not belittle people for their point of view -  its what they have done to EFC.


    by releasing a tape of a private meeting to the media and revealing our financial difficulties they have done immense harm to EFC. it not only proves how stupid and ignorant they are, but how fundamentally dishonest they are as well. they are so stupid that they have no idea of the damage they have done.

    they owe EFC and all its supporters an apology.

    I couldn't agree more! Since when has the kind of publicity they are stirring up ever done any good for any football team? They should hang their heads in shame and give up their fruitless, ignorant, pathetic and extremely unrealistic quest before it causes significant damage to our club!

    Also I dont have any respect for them so I cant give them any.
    Complete gang of morons who do nothing but reflect badly on this club.
