Good lord.  At that point is it not part of your responsibilities to help them seek professional help?

Then aint it about time you made a serious complaint to the powers that be, put forward the idea of banning Ip's, and stopped being so focking lame when caring what other people think about you repeatedly banning this tool?

End of the day, its an un-paid job.....but a job never-the-less.

This forum has become a shambles.

Who is meant to be moderating the viciousness, trolling, flaming, and other young person's internet speak?

This is meant to be representative of the club.  Is this what you'd like to have as the image?  A bunch of infighting, ill-mannered, prejudicial, squabbling fools?

There are many Everton fans, good people, who would gladly discuss the club, teach others the history, share the love of this team.  It was demonstrated by the excellent posts on Blue Legends, though I can't sadly recall who they were by.  This is what we should have here, a place where a dad can show his son the club, leave him here in safety.

This might read like a Worther's advert, though I am nowhere near as old as all that, and it's unrealistic.  But can we at least aspire not to be utter savages at each other?

There are heated debates about the club at the moment.  I have been dragged in before and ended up getting angry at someone's obtuseness, but debating opinions is not the same as name calling, threats and other behaviour we should have outgrown.

Please, think of the club when you post.

The club have been aware and have banned his IP numerous times but he knows how to get round it.

Someone emailed the club yesterday with a complaint concerning the BR as he was unsure how to raise a complaint via the forum and wasn;t sure who the mods were.

He was advised that the club would pass his complaint back to the mods.

The user as far as am aware wasn't made aware of who the mods were or how to contact them via the Forum.

I think this shows how much the club care about the forum.

Then the said person does not have a static ip, therefore can unplug the router and produce a new ip addy after turning it on 2mins later.....
This still does not dismiss the fact that you are not doing everything in your powers to remove said tools from this forum.....re-registering or not...

Not having a go at ya Milky, we get on well I think. Just man up a bit lol.

"Someone emailed the club yesterday with a complaint concerning the BR as he was unsure how to raise a complaint via the forum and wasn;t sure who the mods were." -  This is the kind of thing you need to keep behind closed doors in the Mod forum section.....it fuels the fire to those who are just here to take the pish.

It does not matter/ should not matter "How much the club cares"....You and others have been entrusted with a job, and it needs to be fulfilled.

I agree but we can only do so much

The issues get referred to the club and they do what is necessary.

They are fully aware of certain members activity and are aware of their history yet they are allowed to re-register and post.

I'm not sure what more we as mods can do.

I would agree taht a certain poster has overstepped the mark again recently and has been warned that any more and he will be banned.

We try being lenient we get grief

We try being tough we get grief

You got a banning stick, use it. And use it again when they come back...rinse and repeat.
All part of the job. I know, I do the same thing every day with the same kind of numb nuts.

Its a thankless job, and you can't please everyone ( and there are one or 2 who will cry like babies, unlike their over 40's IRL age...) but it needs to be done. There needs to be a level of decorum, and that point has been passed....it must look awful to potential members reading this site lately.

Part of coming on Br is as a sound piece to voice your concerns, opinions, views and news(good or bad, you get a good reaction). If during the course of your posting you receive abuse or critisism, its for you to deal with. I for one has suffered a huge ammount of banter, critisism, my nationality, abuse of a vile and quite hurtful at times comments, along with pictorial abuse, but i chose how i deal with it. I either join in the banter, call the person into question if almost overstepping the line, or completely ignore the content directed at me, it is my choice, and it is up to the mods therefore how they perceive the posts or threads content. I will always post or offer threads as it is something i enjoy doing, it is for others to decide how they wish to react.
The Blueroom has fantastic posters on it and more power to their fingers i say.............
