on paper qpr look better than there position indicates.

i suspect that they will be highly motivated for this game, certainly sparky will. he's just been given the chairmans backing and thats usually the kiss of death.

we've disappointed recently against wigan and need to boost our own morale by winning this one. hope everyone gets back from the int'ls in good shape. it will be a hard game physically and we've been out-muscled too many times to let it happen again.

agree with this apart from the "we've disappointed recently against wigan.." comment..they didn't disappoint as opposed to expectations too high...

A bit of both I think they did disappoint to the high expectations in the 1st half but then in the 2nd half played to the high expectations we've had for the team. Think the distin change made all the diff as we couldn't control kone in 1st half heitinga had a bad game against his pace

distin was an obvious big difference ...neville in cm was the problem on both of their goals..he let players just run past him ball watching...kone for the first and di santos for the second...

should put heitinga as holding mid just in front of jags and distin and have nev as bench cover. Not saying heitinga is great in midfield but he could do a good protecting job to cover back 4 especially for baines and colemans overlapping runs

if gibbos not fit naismith should start ahead of nev. he's supposed to be a forward but he can play behind jelli and give us a bit of depth. dont know what oviedo is like really, we havent seen much of him.

would defo prefer gibbo there but he does get a few niggling injuries. Need another CM as it's not our strongest position

OVIEDO is left sided midfielder/full back..from what i saw at leeds better going forward than defending...very quick and quick feet...decision makling at this level hopefully will improve...

not sure about naismith giving us "depth" ?

"agree with this apart from the "we've disappointed recently against wigan.." comment""

if you've got ambitions to finish in the top 4 or 5 you have to beat the likes of wigan. they will do well to avoid relegation this year.

same with qpr. they just squeaked home last season this season they could easily go down unless they bring in 'arry redknap.

Agree to some extent but not a lot of teams get much at Wigan they can hold there own at the DW, other teams will drop points there. I think in Kone they could even have a rival for signing of the season to go against our super Kev, he is a dangerous player.

QPR will be tricky but if we get the first goal it'll be a breeze as there is no spirit in their ranks and the crowd will go mental. To probably quote some humdrum pundit "we need to keep it tight" "weather out the inevitable first 15 minute storm" "silence the crowd" etc and it'll be a cake walk then!

Heitinga cost us against Wigan, not Neville.
