Who else can we play there while Gibson is out. Cisco was shiite against Leeds, Barkley's on loan, short of putting Heitinga in there, we're stuck with Neville for the time being.

Oh come on he's the Cap! Moyes should just bring him down to playing 50 minutes a game or so... then put in some a change of pace player, like Naisy or Oviedo, while giving the armband to Jags

    Neville's quicker....they're both absolute poo.

    Sooner Darron's back the better.....

No choice really but to play Neville when Gibson is out.
Which is why Hitzlsperger would be a great addition if he can keep fit and impress this month.
I would agree that Neville is getting slow and old, but he wasn't our worst player by far on Saturday.
Heitinga in CM will never happen unless, Osman and Neville are both injured.
Gibson should be back (along with Hibbert) for the QPR game, and I wouldn't even consider putting Naismith anywhere near CM.

I have said this before but we have the players to play three at the back Heitinga,Jags,Distin with Coleman and Baines wing backs.Jelavic and Fellini up front with Peanuts,Osman and Marellas in midfield sorted all without Neville. Phil Neville is a great captain, but as has been said maybe a bit slower now.
