    COLEMAN - 6 - THOUGHT HE WAS OK AGAIN TODAY - SLIPPED OVER FOR THEIR 1ST AND ALMOST GOT A BLOCK IN FOR THEIR 2ND DIDNT REALLY GET FORWARD MUCH

    JAGS - 6 - MADE 1 VITAL CHALLENGE DIDNT REALLY DO THAT MUCH EITHER

    HEITINGA - 5 - HIS LACK OF PACE REALLY STOOD OUT IN THE 1ST HALF

    BAINES - 9 - TOP PERFORMANCE AGAIN ! WHAT A PEN !

    MIRALLAS - 6.5 - COULDNT REALLY GET GOING TODAY DECENT ENOUGH WITHOUT BEING AS GOOD AS WE'VE SEEN HIM

    OSSY - 6 - DIDNT DO MUCH ! WAS PUT UNDER A PRESSURE AS SOON AS HE HAD THE BALL

    NEVILLE - 6 - HASNT THE ABILITY TO DOMINATE THE MIDFIELD! DID WHAT HE COULD ! A FEW TACKLES AND KEPT SIMPLE PASSING ( GET GIBSON BACK ASAP )

    PIENAAR - 6.5 - SEE MIRALLAS

    FELLAINI - 6.5 -WAS GETTING RATTLED A BIT AND PUT UNDER A LOT PRESSURE WHEN HE HAD THE BALL ! WAS A LOT BETTER AND KEPT HIMSELF A BIT MORE IN CONTROL WHEN HE DROPPED DEAPER !

    JELLY - 6.5 - SCORED A GOAL PROBABLY WOULD OF SCORED ANOTHER WITHOUT BEING CLIPPED WHEN ON THE VOLLEY ! COUPLE OF CLASSY MOMENTS FROM HIM THO ! AND HE KNOWS WHERE THE BACK OF THE NET IS !

    DISTIN - 7 - MARSHALLED THE LEFT ZONE WITH HIS SIZE, POWER AND PACE ! DONT KNOW WHY HE WAS THE ONE TO BE DROPPED THE OTHER WEEK !

    ANICHEBE - 6 - PUT HIMSELF ABOUT A BIT - HAD A STROP ON AGAIN WHEN HE CLEARLY FOULED THE WIGAN FELLA !

    WE'VE PLAYED A LOT BETTER THAN THIS SO FAR ! BUT WE KNOW WE CAN ALWAYS SCORE A GOAL ! AGAIN PLAYING AWAY ! PROBABLY HAD MORE SHOTS AND MORE POSSESION THAN THE HOME TEAM ! STILL JUST THE ONE DEFEAT ! AND A GOOD BATTLE BACK IN THE 2ND HALF WITHOUT REALLY REACHING OUR HEIGHTS OF PLAY !

    coleman gives the ball away so often i dread it when someone passes to him. he's not premiership quality and should go.

    defence was poor today at times.

    Kone will do that to a lot of defenders this season. we need to strengthen the defence in january.

    BAINES - 9 - TOP PERFORMANCE AGAIN ! WHAT A PEN ! 

    ex-wigan player, the fans there must hate him. he was cool and controlled. if he'd missed that penalty most here would have lynched him.

    MIRALLAS - 6.5 - COULDNT REALLY GET GOING TODAY DECENT ENOUGH WITHOUT BEING AS GOOD AS WE'VE SEEN HIM 

    he is supposed to be a striker. pathetic finisher. he had good chances couldnt hit the target. gotta a lot to prove yet. 

    OSSY - 6 - DIDNT DO MUCH ! WAS PUT UNDER A PRESSURE AS SOON AS HE HAD THE BALL. 

    he's a  great lad and gives his all. but blows hot and cold. could  have had a couple but didnt. and thats too often the story.

    a great captain but time for him to join his brother in the commentary box. altho i think he may make a good manager one day.

    much better than mirallas. always gives a 100% and he's the next best thing to arteta.

    i guess moyse told him to drop back and defend or he would have got a red. sadly we needed him up front because mirallas can't cut it.

    he's fantastic. what would we do if he got injured.  scores with the first touch both feet and his head.

    he's been a fantastic buy for us. who misses lescott? but his pace is slower now. distin did a much better job than johnyH dealing with kone', but he isnt the player he was. he's now 34 and we need a younger defender in the same mould, big, strong, intelligent, but with the speed that distin used to have.

    can we? we didnt at west brom. i'm just grateful for Bainsey scoring from an under pressure penalty. otherwise we would have lost the match against an inferior side.
