    Wow escla your an ****.

I didn't come here asking you to sell your club I just wanted to get a feel for the atmosphere from the fans and learn more about it from the fans poit of view. I didn't grow up around this game so my knowledge of it has been limited. Now for the record I did research a few clubs, I learned about their history, I watched videos including classic matches and recent matches I didn't just stroll in here hoping for someone to make up my mind for me. I was at the limit of what I could learn from reading official material and wanted an honest oppionion about the club from the people that matter.

Now that being said I find it interesting that in every sport and with every team you get that one **** supporter that makes you question your choice to follow that team....

You've caught him on a good day by the looks of it..... But don't let him put you off following 'the greatest team the world has ever seen'. Just out of interest, who's your AFL team?

I follow the Adelaide Crows but I'm more into my local league in which I support Central Districts which is a very similar club in style to Everton, they have the best supporters, the best management and the best players, once your part of the club you will always be part of the club and its a club I was born into its in my blood. So that's why I'm so attracted to Everton.

Best choice you'll ever make, but we're not biased here ;-) I've got family in Perth so quite often get over there when I can. My brother who's over there has just got his residency today actually. I love AFL almost as much as soccer (or football, just in case any of these decide to have a go at me haha) so I'm made up I get ESPN as they show three games a week over here. I'm a West Coast Eagles fan but also follow Sydney due to the fact I've seen many exciting encounters between the Eagles and the Swans. I've not really seen anything of the local leagues but I believe the standard is very good.

When I've got the money basically. I've been six times in the last 11 years. Next year, I'm looking to go twice so that'll be eight times in the last 12 years.

It costs a lot and takes maybe 3 or 4 hours to fly from Perth to Adelaide so ive only been there once and getting there as offer as you can sounds good enough to me. I'm pretty much a fan of any afl team who isn't Victorian lol so yeah I enjoy watching west coast and Sydney but I'm more interested in Fremantle.

Ha, I have the photos to prove all the times I've been so you can't get me there! And I'm rubbish at Photoshop so you can try that one either!

He lives in Huyton so is talking about a 22 hour flight which he did for the first time 2 or three years ago and bombarded us with e.mails about sticking his head in between barmaids breasts etc. Hasn't been since, was just asking him since when was once quite often ;-)

Ahhh the_wankers with anchors ;) I know someone who supports the Dockers and I'm forever baiting him when the derby comes around. The West Coast derby pretty much reminds me of the Merseyside derby but I couldn't really say that with much substance as I've never been to any other derbies.

I've seen Freo twice, Hawthorn twice (including at the 'G' vs Port Adelaide, and the first time I saw them was the first time I'd watched an AFL game against Freo) and West Coast once strangely enough! (That was a derby in the NAB cup)

Hoping to go to another game when I'm over in March next year so will be looking at the fixture list very closely.

Good choice mate.  If you're a thoughtful, intelligent and fair-minded individual with good taste and a loyal personality, you've picked the right club.  We ARE the people's club in the City of Liverpool. As was said earlier, you will already know if you are a natural Evertonian.

Here's a typical selection of some who chose the other lot.

I eagerly await the derby I just hope i get it live. I have always hated Liverpool and I have an old family friend who follows them and is from there so it will be a fun game to watch.
