    this decade.... i'm startin a candle factory... and riggin me pushbike with a dynamo.... maybe some solar panels on the roof... wind turbine in the garden.... any other ideas? theres a get rich quick scheme in this somewhere!

    A large wind turbine would be enough for your house. Solar panels are only good for hot water not heating so if you wanted to heat your house then you either need gas/oil etc or just build a passive house. I'm studying renewable energy :)
