What's wrong with it? All I can see is that the player taking the corner has an invisible left arm. This would make it difficult for the referee to spot a hand-ball offence. Because of this, invisible body parts come under the list of proscribed equipment, which includes studs that are too sharp, guns, motor cars and mechanical ball-launching devices. Even organs which are permitted to come into contact with the ball are covered by this rule. Players with invisible heads have to wear a gimp mask, however embarrassing they might find it. To be fair to the opposing fans, Petr Cech never seems to encounter any mockery of his invisible head. On the contrary, it gave him a gateway into film stardom, following in the footsteps of Vinnie Jones. Who can forget his starring role in Pulp Fiction?
