DOMOZ said:Definitely not a time to be presuming and or blaming parents for whatever has happened to this poor kid. Just hope and pray it turns out ok for all concerned. Have some class.
Let's face it if your kid is not safe on the street at 7pm neither are they at 10am or 2.30pm or any random time you want to pick. So what do you do, wrap your child in cotton wool and sit them on the couch all day while you stand over them biting your nails??For all you know the poor kid may have been terrified for any number of reasons about being near her home and the parents may not have had any choice in the matter at the time. I've done it as kid around the same age I was terrified to get into our street for hours because a dog that always chased me was hanging around - my mum lamped me for making her so worried saying the dog was an excuse. You just never know with kids...I think the reason people post up this missing persons information everywhere on the net and in forums is to alert the greatest number of people possible to help in any way they can, not use it as an excuse to kick at the girl's parents who must be going through unimaginable agony and distress. Hang your heads in shame or go start some parenting classes if you are now experts at raising other people's children.

Whatever the reasons if it goes wrong i hope you too wont feel any sense of I told you so......
