    if you live in mid america and you take a 2 hour plane flight, your still in the usa.


    in the uk a two hour plane flight can take you to a dozen different countries.

    thats one reason why many yanks have little real knowledge of the world outside.

    same applies to aussies.

    actually i live in borneo. wouldnt live in the uk. its crap.

    my brother lives in the bahamas. he's a red. not his fault i blame the parents.

    he's always visiting the usa. loves it for holidays. keeps telling me to come over take look at the place with him. maybe next year!

    I can honestly say I've never even heard of borneo. But I have been to the bahamas on my honeymoon and it is heaven.

     a lot of good young aussies are buried there thanks to ww2.  and of course geographically its not too far from oz.
