I treat it like I do when we 'sign' someone..... I refuse to believe it until it's happened.

Exactly, I always say untill there standing on Goodison's pitch with a scalf round there neck and a big cheesy smile $hitting us on how there gonna do this an do that, then I'll beleive it lol

The timing of this news stinks a bit to

For what it's worth, my own belief is that there is always people interested in buying Everton.....until they see our figures and the shocking state we're in...at which point they promply run a 4ooking mile!!

I know I would if I were just an "Investor"

But Bill is trying to take some heat off himself by getting this info out there at this particular time.

    It won't have much effect!

    I love this.

Bill can't sell the club because no one is interested in it.

Utter mongs say that there must be people interested in buying Everton.

Bill is meeting with three potential buyers currently.

Utter mongs say no one is interested in the buying the club.

Is this story treating these protesting fans like utter mongs?

    Yes, I think he is.

Moral of the story. If you don't want to be treated like a **** idiot, then don't act like one.

    HAHAHA

bills been meeting with "3 potential buyers" for the past 10 years.

the problem is the ending is always the same.

Bk is the same as doug ellis was for villa, but at least ellis left with some dignity.

Doug Ellis sold a club in a different financial world... and with a better stadium.

Villa fans don't view him acting with much dignity for the most part either.

Diffferent financial world HOW, kenrights been looking for over 10 years????????

and villa fans do rate him.  Ellis was in a similar siutation to what kenright is in now, he had no money to take villa further, and there were "ellis out" posters aswell as protests.

The problem he had was he wanted the full asking price for the club as well as the new owner to then wipe off all of the debts.

after unsuccessfully looking for a new buyer, he sold the club for much less then it worth as long as the new owner, in return would wipe out most of the debts.  Think the club was worth 130m, he sold it for 64m.

MOTD did a piece on him last season, he walked through the turnstyles with the rest of the fans, they were all patting him on the back, and chanting his name

When I read this I thought it sounded familiar. I remembered seeing BK do a phone interview with Jim White on Sky Sports News around a year ago. There's probably other links but this confirmed my memory:

And they wonder why fans get cynical...

(BTW - wonder why am I only showing 3 posts - not done that many but sure it's more than 3!)

Spin like this is an insult to the fans . Do they think those of us with more than half an ounce of common sense actually believe this ill timed garbage ?
This and Elstone's stupid statement are so transparent it's laughable . It indicates how worried they are starting to get now despite their feeble attempts to brush this aside . From little acorns ...........:)

You thick dip$h1t Where does it say that EFC have made an announcement ? You can't blame the club for pure press speculation and rumour mongering.

I reckon its true. I've heard from a source (not at all reliable) that Bill was sitting in a big leather chair stroking a white cat whilst looking out of his window at the pitch. Elstone burst through the door and shouts,

"Mr Kenwright Sir, the, the, the Blue Union sir they"

"THE BLUE UNION, THE BLUE UNION, WE'LL DESTROY THEM, MUWAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH"

"But Mr Kenwright sir, they've got"

"THEY'VE GOT WHAT, A TAPE RECORDER"?

    "They've got T shirts Sir"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" "GET ON THE PHONE, THAT GUY IN MANCHESTER, YOU KNOW, THE ONE IN THE FLAT IN SALFORD, I WANT 45 QUID IN LOVE2SHOP VOUCHERS, AND GET ME A TAXI, DELTA, NOT A BLACK ONE."

    True story
