....seems to be struggling to me. He was poor last night and hasn't impressed in any game he's been involved in since the season started, he hasn't looked like the level of player i expected after his performance in pre-season

am i being a little judgemental 7 games into a season with a new club and returning from long term injury or isn't he really as good as we thought he would be?

i think it's still early but he's definitely not setting any fireworks off at the moment. he's not getting too much of a consistant run in the team either at the mo whilst Moyes works out the best position for him and Mirallas i dont think.

    No.

I don't think he's done anything. It was a bloody good job he was free.

He reminds me of Van Der Meyde because he looks like he's been out on the lash every night before the game.

i cant really see what we have got with him.unless he really does need to play tight to Jelavic up front, which we havent really seen yet. maybe if he totally fired up then would be effective, but I havent seen anything that indicates he has got enough in his game to ever be first choice. noticed when he came here all the positive statements were about his attitude and nothing about any level of ability. lucky the other signings seem better than hoped. can we get money back?

Yeah, he's looked quite poor for a few games, but I'll give him credit for hacking one off the line last night.
But there were many poor performances last night, although I thought Distin played much better than most of the others.

For my money I have seen all I need of him. Could be because his knees are shot but he lots like a reserve team player at best. He doesn't have good technical ability (compared to what I expected / what we need as an attacking mid) but to tack onto that he has no turn of pace, can't attack at a defender and if he has his back to goal i have not once seen him feint one way and turn to the open space. He doesn't really seem like an attacking option to me and he definitely cannot defend so I don't know what could be done with him except get like 2-3 mil off him and call it a day (id be well happy with that since he was free)

He will be a good player for us in the future, but we need to give him time.

    Looks a bit **** to me -

Now this is rich coming from me - as the **** I type - but look at Naysmiths twitter comments - looks like he would have fitted in well in Train spotting - reminds me of SPUD - Watch trainspotting and you will see SPUD playing 5 a side -just looks like Naysmith.

I think it's clear a lot of people in this thread have no idea what they're talking about, mainly the people asking for money back on him. He's just came back from a long injury, had a massive fight to be ready for the start of the season and has had both his knees f***ed up, I'd ask you all to reserve judgement about him until we've seen more, I know if from feburary-april he had a run of scoring and racked up 7 goals you lot would be all over him, whether he played well or not. It seems a lot of people are judging him mostly off last nights game, which I'd like to remind everyone that he was playing with our 3rd choice right back behind him, a lazy Fellaini and a 5ft 4 7 stone lightweight making his first ever appearance for us next to him, and a striker that people have been hating on for years. Yes he had a poor game but you're jumping to conclusions. You all sound like RS fans speaking about their managers. The whole point of being a "supporter" is to "support" the team.

He definatly needs more time. He's hardly had a proper run of games yet.

Seems some are not convinced and others are willing to wait a bit longer for him to show what he can do. I'd like to see him link up with Jelavic as maybe that is were he is best, but with Fellaini already making advanced midfield his own so far, he is competing to start on the right with Mirallas and he has been much more the convincing player so far.

Hope kid goals can find his shooting boots soon though as if he does he will undoubtedly grow in confidence and if Vic continues his new happy out look on life we really have one of the most potent attacking forces we have had in quite some time
