We have no strikers as it is.... ow just imagine if denis gets hurt on his first game.... we wont have ANY premiership experience strikers at all, laughing stock!This is when i really laugh at so called PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE IN FOOTBALL like moyes and others who make decisions on selling players and buying.... Did they really think that we would go through this season without any injuries????? If anyone on this forum cant see what im saying you have no effin CLUE about football....If you were to do this kind of thing in your own employment you would be fired on the spot!!!!

True, but let's be honest the words 'striker' and 'Anichebe' shouldn't even be in the same sentence. I do share the worry that we are short up front, but Anichebe's absence is immaterial. He just isn't good enough. -

i think Moyes' hands were tied when it came to selling players....he had to get rid of Yakubu (wages are too high for a guy who doesn't give a f**k at our club), and beckford wasn't any good (we got decent money)
Right now the banks have our club by the balls....its not Moyes' Fault......its unlucky that after losing 2 forwards, 1 more gets injured....but on the plus side, Vic is absolutely terrible.....Give Denis a run and see what happens, give Vellios a few more games, hopefully get 20 mins here & there from saha......for once, this injury could be a good thing for us. -

You seem to have forgotten the time we went a few months with no strikers, put Fellaini up front with Cahill behind, and had one of the, if not thee best run of results we've had in the last 25 years!!
Be furious that we only have 2 strikers - not furious that we have 3 with Vic injured! Coz when vic is fit, we still only have 2...if ya know what I mean! -

Jags and Rodwell have played well in the past and both have potential to get back to that level.
Anichebe has always been poor and seems that he will always remain so.
