Can someone explain

    This paragraph to me

"The aim of the Blue Union is simple, it's not to get Bill Kenwright
out, it's certainly not some mindless attempt to sack the board. Its aim
is to promote the concept of allowing the CEO to be left to concentrate
on reducing costs, developing our revenue streams and repairing the
relationship with the fanbase whilst leaving the board to appoint a
fully autonomous group of professional individuals who can effectively
develop and implement a strategy that will identify and sell the club to
a buyer who can demonstrate an ability and a genuine desire to take the
club forward on both a commercial and football level."

I may be wrong but it appears they don't want Bill or the board out but do want an interim board to replace them who's prime aim is to sell club hence replacing the original board long term.

I am also presuming that we would be replacing our unpaid directors with a paid board.

    Clarification would be good

To me, and I may well be wrong, but they seem to be saying they're happy to keep Kenwright in charge while an interim board is appointed to help him look for a buyer. Once this buyer has been identified and everyone is satisfied that it's not just some random chap in a Manchester bedsit, THEN Kenwright may be willing to sell to them. This should keep everyone happy, especially Kenwright, who has supposedly been looking to sell the club for a long time. I'm guessing this is like what Liverpool did with H&G before they found a buyer.

Doesn't say anything about replacing the board, it says the board can concentrate on appointing a team of people to construct a plan with which to attract a buyer for the club.

Well ok, if you wanna be picky,  'team of people' but can't we assume that by this they mean 'an interim board'?

Not being picky, just saying what it says. TBH I couldn't give a shiny **** what they want. In fact, I'm starting to think Everton fans are just as stupid as the shower from over the park. Do any of us actually believe that the board, who, lets make no bones about it have certainly had more success in business than any of us, will see these T shirted mongs and think, "my god, what a great idea, why didn't we think of that". There are reasons why this club has not been sold and this little protest will just add another to the ever growing list.
