    Depends. Puts alot more work on the centre backs if they are covering.

    Something Ratcliffe and mountfield never worried about


    However fullbacks didn't attack as much then. Virtually wingers now.

    Wilson was the one I was thinking, but I never saw him play so I don't know. He's definitely better than hinchcliffe though blue.

    Fair point lad, think this is what makes any such comparison so difficult, baines is the one I have enjoyed watching the most though.

    Appreciate totally where you are coming from mate. Baines is a great player.

    Been quite lucky bar the odd one or two ( pistone ) with left backs


    Shame we can't have the same discussion about wingers. Last decent out and out winger we had was prob kanchelskis

    That was guy was awesome! He was my idol growing up.
    Fast, skillful, eye for goal and a cracking shot at range.

    He was farrrr more than decent....

    Spot on lad always got decent left backs, struggle to think of the right backs as well.
