We improved league wise last year.

We have drastically reduced our debt

    We have reduced our outgoings.

To me this appears to be the actions of a club/business aiming to improve financially without harming the team significantly.

We have lost 1 player a season recently and every time people say we won't cope yet we do.

All of what you said was forced upon Everton because the banks were getting very twitchy about our Serious financial plight,......Everton is Mortgaged up to the Hilt. We have a very small squad which lacks depth and we are being out spent by the likes of Wolves, Fulham, Stoke, Blackburn ,QPR and even teams outside of the Prem . Without serious investment we will end up with our best players being sold and Moyes moving to a club that will back him in the transfer market. ... We are a team very much in decline.

Ask your self another question ...Why have the banks singled out Everton to start reducing their overdraft? Do they know something Bill & Co are not sharing with us? Most of the money coming into the club is just paying off the interest on the loans.

How do you know Everton have been singled out? Or are you privy to the financial details of every football club?

No ...But I haven't seen a single report on any other premier league club that said there banks had stopped them spending. Whilst i except most clubs are finding it very hard Ive not read of any other chairman who has had to say to his bank..."'don't kill us this season".

I may be wrong, but maybe that's because no other chairman has had his conversations secretly taped then shamelessly broadcast to the public?

Thats like saying the guardian was wrong to expose the NOTW for the phone taping scandal. Kenwright and Co have been found out. Without investment we are a club in decline.

Yeah but there is a subtile diffreance between the two.

NOTW actions are illigal. BK at the moment is not.

The ends justify the means, is that what you are suggesting Nismo? Because on the one hand you seem to be horrified that you are hearing/reading about our financial plight, yet supporting the sneaky way that information was gathered and made public.

Seems a bit of a contradictory stance to me!

Not at all. The man who is in charge of the team i support is making a pigs ear out of the job. ( I do actually feel sorry for him because the job is far to big for him) Under his stewardship anyone in the press that dare challenge him is black listed . We only hear what he wants us to to hear and if anyone goes against that philosophy they usually get banned from Goodison. That's not really an honest an open policy and not very transparent. People might frown on the way he was exposed but for the long term future of the club ...it had to happen.

Fair dues to your opinion, but I think we'll have to agree to disagree on a couple of points. In the world of business I do not think it sensible to have a completey open policy. And for any potential group who wish to put themselves forward as a trustworthy alternative, the way to encourage support is NOT to begin their existence with low, underhand tactics. It removes any moral high ground and credibility they try and achieve.

    Just my opinion of course!

I like the positives here mate the only thing that is in decline is the moaning never happy negativeShites and the BU spreading their poision and wanting to be like their brother RS's across the park!

Whilst i think with hindsight the blue union might have done a few things different their hands were tied . The demands set by Kenwright were such that it would of been a waste of time having a meeting. Anything reported out of the meeting would have been his word against theirs. Why did Bill want the contents off their meeting between him and the Blue Union kept secret? Yes there are two sides to every argument and you and I may disagree but we are both Evertonians and we only want the best for our club.

'Why did Bill not want the contents off their meeting between him and the Blue Union kept secret' - possibly because he knows how vulnerable that leaves the club in terms of having it's financial state laid bare to all and sundry?

'Anything reported out of the meeting would have been his word against theirs' - can't see why that would have been a problem, most people are sensible enough to make their own opinion on whose version of the meeting was true.

'..you and I may disagree but we are both Evertonians and we only want the best for our club.' - that, for sure, we can agree on.

By our finishing position r kidd, that is consolidating, if we finish 8th or 9th, we have done well in a season where change will be quite fullsome......chelsea are having a similar time of it with the manger this season for me, they will probably consolidate in 2nd or 3rd though, man u did it when ronaldo left but they kept in the top 3 still, becasue we are consolidating a little mate, it doesnt neccessarily mean we have to finish 14th, it just menas we might be a place or 2 lower than in previous seasons.

Im probably wrong mate, but its jsut a better perspective from my point of view than 'doom mongering' and people saying daft stuff like 'we are finished' etc etc :)
