Okay people are really being split over the BU and the protest. As previously stated i am not for or against them.

But now people are starting to slate each other over what can be done and the way people are not doing any thing.

In a dream world what can we do.

I would love to organise a foundation to buy the club. But there are several hundred problems with this and the first is convincing people to part with cash. In an idea i have discussed with a few people some thing along the lines of. Find 200k supporters to put 1k in to the foundation. To purchase the club and clear the debt.

The first problem is convincing people to part with there cash for a percentage of ownership of the club. Then there is how to Manage the club. Who's ideas etc to lead and take the club forward. I have a lot of ways to increase revanue, build Everton up to a viable option as a football club and more. But who is to say i will suceed. I could fail same as the next man / Woman (not forgetting Miss K and the others)

i would start tommorow trying to convi=nce people that this is a worthy cause and the fans owning the club is a great idea but then drawing the line of owning the club and running the club will need to be seperated and that will be a hard thing to do for the average fan as every one has diffrent ideasand thouyghts.

just look at the team and formations people choose for each weekend. With so many people trying to be involved and see there voice heard it would be imposible.

Who is to say that the next personm will run the club better than BK, Might even be worse or another PJ. Who knows.

As fans and supporters of the club we have to try and support the team and manager and help them where we can. By turningup to matches, buying the kits using the mega store etc. Supporting the team and manager.

Sorry just a little frustrated that some people think we can get rid of the board, do this do that and it is all sorted but no one has really got a plan to be able to put in to place.

Maybe i should put a plan together and see what people think. In more details rough guide.

Get a figure head (like Nial Quinn) noticable.
Get a plan to remove board, and replace with who?
Then structure the investment idea and out come from the use of the funds.
Then a redevelpoment of the current structure to keep EFC a positive force in the football world.
Show plans to buy, clear the debt and invest in the team and a way to progress forward. With new advertising, Branding (would love to bring back the peoples club).

Not just sit here and say it is not good enough, get kenwirght out etc etc.

I personally think with the right financial institue behind this idea and the right people leading the pack, this is something positive and viable that should be looked into further. As jayee019 rightly says, it's no good just shouting for the board to go because when/if they do any new board could be even worse.

Wish it was that simple. Somke one need to draw up plans as the idea to get the fans to buy the club is not unrealistic. If you could get 200,000 to put £1000 in to a fund that would raise 200M. That should be easily enough to Buy the club, clear the debt and have investment in players / the club. But the plan has to be strong with good figure heads. Not every fan has to believe in the way to move the club forward but just ewnough to convince them it will be better than the current plans.

    drawbacks..
1..obvious one..your not going to get 200k putting 1k in
    2. the "lender" will not approve a loan going to 200k people
3 i cant wait to see how the nominees for ownership get drawn up
4 who will be the securities on the loan ?
5 what will be the trading staus of the business ?
    the list goes on mate...

How can you say you won't get 200k putting in 1k?
Who said anything about a loan?
there are currently 37000 shares in EFC they would have to be split 3 time to cover 200k potential owners. Each recving one share per 1000 invested

With these being share holders. The group being led by three individuals best suited to running the business. There would then be a structured and more informative role for the shareholders which AGM's and bi monthly meeting structured to progress forward movement for the club.

    easy try it and see...
do you honestly think the majority shareholders would sell to a group such as this ?

hey you go for it my son...

    good luck with that ...

If the plan is set and is structured for the club to move forward then it is a posibility. i am only trying to put ideas out there instead of the normal calling for the board etc.

TY Sambo. I think it is a good IDEA. now weather it is practable or not is another question. So far with out real discussion there are a couple of us just putting ideas out there. Looking to be a bit more formal in time but just getting the jist of the information to be able to move forward. we need ideas and help in all matter to make this a viable solution and any help will be greatly recieved.

KHL had some good bad points that we need to see and address but in time and not with in the next few days or even month i hope we can have answers and the posibility of a portfolio to progress futher.

If some one came to me with a decent proposal to be a semi silet investor,(that i could trust) i would invest £1000 to my beloved club to safe guard there future. But like everything i would need to be 100% sure and that is why we are discussin this.

it is just ideas at the moment. Nothing more.

Maybe Jay you wouldnt need to get the money together to buy the whole club, may for a stake even to help the club out, who knows what the possibilities could be?
