What do the Anti-BU brigade make of this statement?

I cant help but think that the BU is nothing but a bunch of ego-maniacs wanting their ego's massaged by sheep too fearful to go against the grain.
I do understand that there are some serious issues at EFC and im very worried at the direction our club is going. However, I can, in no way, see how a march by a few hundred supporters calling for the head of BK and to be replaced by 'an interim board' is going to help.
An interim board? And who chooses them? The few lads from the Winslow / BU? How's that fair? Either offer an alternative or get on with supporting EFC. And dont give me all that 'its not our job to find investment / a buyer'. I know full well its not thier job but why moan / protest about something when they clearly have no idea how to resolve matters and, hence, no actual, logical, realistic goal.

And by the way, I dont expect all the backslapping 'right on Colin', 'well said Neil', etc that goes on on certain forums, but if their sole objective to respond is with abusive posts or ridiculous accusations of me being a red or club plant, then please dont, its boring.
It just so happens, im an Evertonian who disagrees with the approaches / thought processes of the BU.

I personally think this is perfectly reasonable of them so just wondered what those who are against the Blue Union thought?

Read Graham Sharps view on the OS how these actions cause unrest amongst the players, these neo-**** illiterate halfwit activists probably paid someone to pen this article for them as they sure as hell don't seem to have a brain between them, that's all.

I've yet to see this happen here. Where are all the BU supporters responding with abuse or calling people reds? The abuse I see on this forum comes from anti-BU posters (who seem as militant as the militants they oppose).

I dare one of you to view this objectively.

It seems very few of you can see past your own agendas on this forum. The hypocrisy makes ugly reading.

    P.S... Welcome to the forum.

Not really sure about the issue of an agenda from people, but I do agree with you about the level of abuse towards the BU. I'm not a BU supporter but I would hope that we can treat them in the same way that we would want to be treated. I clearly remember the abuse I recieved on other forums for my support of the DK and I really wouldn't want to wish that on fellow Evertonians, even if I disagree with their view.

I fully concur and that is why i invited the BU for a Q&A session.

Hopefully we will recieve the answers before the protest so people can make a more balanced choice.

that statement is so contradicting, cant see past thier own agendas? why because they believe something you dont?? can you see past your own agenda?? The meeting with blue union was embarrassing for the three lads who made it. The people who are marching are the same idiots who opposed the Kirkby move, the same idiots who call for moyes head every game. These idiots will want the team to get beat tomorrow just to add more fuel to the fire, times like this we need to get behind the club and SUPPORT it! If it was near the end of the season and we were struggling I could understand more (not agree) but its the second game! Statements like 'BK wants to stay chairman thats why he wont sell' its laughable and hold no water whatsoever. You are all looking to sack the board but then what?? what then??...CLUELESS. Just like people are when they say 'Moyes has taking us as far as he can' what a load of ****! i know thats not the topic here but the majority of people who agree with this BU are the same people who call for moyes' head! JOKES. Be careful what you wish for! Get behind the club and stand be SUPPORTERS!

Someone doing something stupid is fine. But if you point out that what they've done it stupid then your being militant.

    1. Someone does something stupid
    2. Someone else points out that the person has done something stupid
    3. Other people moan that the person describing the stupid action action as stupid is not being 'objective'.

What do I believe? You don't know do you? So behave. I'm not pro-BU... I'm anti-hypocrite.

Let me clarify what I meant for you: people are so busy painting the BU out to be this big boogey man, that they can't see they're being just as offensive/militant/ divisive as they claim the BU are. I've not seen the BU on here calling Evertonians thickos, idiots or reds... but I have seen the likes of you doing those things, while AMAZINGLY crying about the BU calling you names.

All this anti-BU abuse, the name calling... It's infantile, by grown men who really should know better.

    P.S.. your tone stinks.

No, you spending 90% of the last week on here relentlessly attacking the BU, while at the same time making them the most talked about people on the forum and thus making them more relevant than if you'd shut up about them... is militant.

    And slightly obsessive.

    And creepy.

They are a horrible spade. I called them a spade, some people argued, I argued back.

    Most sensible people agreed.

I'm now content to sit back and watch the mongs dancing in the street. Enjoy your dancing.

In fairness to making them a relevant issue on here. The window is over, its been an international break. They are the most relevant thing about Everton currently. Which is a shame really.

    Typical of you.

If you'd belt up the BU would barely get a mention.

    Give it a go.

Prophet, I'll post what I like thanks. Why don't you stop following my posts around this forum and take your little wind up act elsewhere.

Surely there is somebody somewhere not making a generalisation who hasn't heard your schtick before?

It's worrying that you don't realise that it was you who started dialogue with me, on each occasion.

    Worrying indeed.

Fair point. I do think that sometimes people on the forum tend to resort to abuse when they dont want to bother coming up with a rational argument. But this is not always the case.

Despite reportedly only numbering in the hundreds the BU have placed themselves in the media spotlight as the face of Everton supporters. They have to expect that that is going to anger and frustrate the thousands of supporters who did not give the BU a mandate to represent them and who, while agreeing with some of their views, do not agree with their methods.

    @Wallyrainey: Good post.

I think you and blacktoffee show that you can oppose the Blue Union without resorting to the
cheap, unnecessary tactics and childish attacks being used by far too many (supposedly
    grown men) on here.

Many of the better points against the BU have been lost amongst the needless petty insults and infantile baiting. It borders on the embarrassing.

And those of us who don't fit into either camp are labelled as 'Blue Union
supporters' for daring to highlight the unnecessary nature of abuse going on and the
    hypocrisy of it all.

    This place...

To take a little issue with this, they did and were.

Before the rebranding it was a war zone.  So many aggressive attacks by anyone opposed to Kenwright on anyone that defended logic, truth or Kenwright, the previous two not being necessarily pro-BK but just quoting balance sheets, facts, that sort of scurrilous thing.

It turned into a ragged series of rants, and a bit like Michael Moore, in  trying to be on what you see as the side of good you descend into the tactics of the belligerent, uncouth opposition.

Howdy, Stranger!
