I personally think this is perfectly reasonable of them so just wondered what those who are against the Blue Union thought?

Read Graham Sharps view on the OS how these actions cause unrest amongst the players, these neo-**** illiterate halfwit activists probably paid someone to pen this article for them as they sure as hell don't seem to have a brain between them, that's all.

Every person or group has the right to peaceful protest. On the whole, football protests generally look pretty pathetic.

To be fair, I can see this being no different on either point.

Looking forward to the open letter.

    Dear business owner,

We love your business but feel the product range would be more expansive under new ownership.

Therefore, with all the power the internets invests in us, we ask you to employ at your own expense a group of people to focus on selling your business to a better owner at a price that suits them and us.

    Ciao for now.

One of the aims is stated as 'repairing the relationship with the fanbase '.

I wasn't aware I'd fallen out with anyone?

if you think thats reasonable then i can reasonably cliam that your an idiot!
why dont they march on tescos and tell them that they have to sack all their managers and sell their stores?
when the RS employed a board to sell the club they were a paid board on multi million £'s worth of contracts!
so you and the B.U think its reasonable to order the board to sack themselves and pay millions of £'s the club doesnt have to try to find some1 the B.U approve of to give the club to?
saying stupid things like we oppose stagnation and want to increase revenue streams etc etc is meaningless drivel to try to make idiots think they are reasonable fans!
If you wish to reduce the costs at everton then sell the players or sack the manager and employ cheaper alternatives!
Increasing revenue streams? just saying that makes it happen does it?
the ONLY direct way to immediately increase revenue streams is to increase the price of tickets to fans other ways of increasing revenue is increased sponsorship/merchandising.
I have seen blue union statements saying we should open everton stores all over the world and we would make millions from it.
Sadly that shows that they have no idea of business or the real world.
And now it appears they want to sell merchandise so that they can all have a jolly good time causing trouble and get fans to pay for it.
Any1 who listens to them and buys their crap is a complete and utter moron in my opinion!

You know what, I'm starting to think you're all f'kin mental. Its got sod all to do with any of us what the board does. They've put money in, on a scale none of us could, OK its not enough but its more than those d'eads at the BU have done. The board is useless, but they own the business, they decide what to do with it, not half a dozen self important idiots with the collective intellect of a bag of peanuts. Now I'd love a new board, with tons of cash but to be honest, how much cash would it take to get us to be certain of finishing even fourth? Fact is, footballs gone to crap, its just 16 clubs turning up each week in vain whilst the other 4 reap the rewards.

" not half a dozen self important idiots with the collective intellect of a bag of peanuts"

i think thats very unfair and discriminatory against peanuts!

But ur comments did make me think of that M&M's advert with the two peanuts talking on the sofa and imagining it was a blue union meeting ha ha.

i'm neither anti or pro these groups...

i beleive the ethos of the BU group is correct ie: we want a better everton football club...

however the reality of what they're trying to acheive is.... basically unachievable..

and unfortunately having had a golden opportuntity to build a relationship with the club and get recognition from the club as a true "fans voice" ..THEY BLEW IT...

shame in many ways as it could of led to so much .... but will probably now detract from any fans group from ever getting recognition form the club..

    spot on.

But its the manner in which they are doing it and will continue in. The exposer they will get and the damage and embarrassment they will cause is what gets me annoyed about it.

Lets be realistic here. For most newspapers, printing a negative story about Everton does more for them that printing a positive story. I'm sure the daily mail for example (who recently printed the 'club going no where piece about Everton) understands that there are more liverpool fans across the UK interesting in reading that than there are Everton fans who'll get annoyed with it.

So actions such as this, particularly as ill thought out as this clearly is, really are not what the club needs just now. And for that reason alone, I'm in the anti camp on this issue.

well hopefully they will have learned a valuable lesson..and can move forward with the club in a more amiable and "professional" manner...

i suspect however that those bridges are well and truely burnt...

for me it will take a professional mediator to facilitate any dialogue between the club abd BU form now on...and i'm talking the likes of a highly respected lawyer for example on BU's side.....not graham sharpe or any other "old player"

I have a bit more respect for them after that statement, but I doubt they will achieve anything. I can't believe they are selling Blue Union T Shirts!!

    Well you did ask..
IMO they have right to protest but what they are protesting to acheive is ludicrous.
I have no problems with the fans letting Bill know how they feel, hell it may even job the board into some sort of action, but BU have demonstrated incompetence and the ability to cause damage at every turn.
The road the hell is paved with good intentions as the saying goes, I think that goes for both Bill and the BU. Except instead of Hell, I think simply dissapointment would be a better word.

Yeah I asked, and a lot opinions I understand, especially because of how the group did use underhand tactics, which of course will annoy people, and even supporters of BU will be feeling a little uncomfortable at that, but I didn't think there was any need for the need to call anyone an idiot or a moron. I think using insults makes individuals less credible in their arguments. Personally, although I'm leaning towards the BU myself, I'm looking for the middle ground and see things from both sides.

BU have done more wrong than that imo.
Agree with the rest though, not really anti BU, just can't stand most of the internet based followers with their blind ignorance of anything positive from the board.

u asked for opinion you got mine
you may not agree with it and thats ok because i dont agree with yours.
But the blue onions get right up my nose by just making meaningless totally irrelevant and stupid soundbites to try to make themselves look like they have a clue what they are talking about when they clearly have demonstrated incompetence at every step.
They do not represent everton football club or the huge majority of their fans and quite frankly I think they have had there 10 mins of fame and its time for them to crawl back under a rock.
But i repsect ur right to have ur opinion and disagree with me! :D

Haha, fair play to you, was expecting another angry rant, which to be fair would have been justified seeing that I'd have been the one to have caused it.
