"Croatian star Jelavic looks like he is next to leave cash strapped Everton. Talking to an online Croatian fanzine he was asked if Champions League was a good tournament to play in, the forward who has been a hit at Goodison and scored when playing against Manchester United, a goal that brought him to the attention of Sir Alex, replied that it was an important tournament. He then seemed to wink in a knowing way at me.
There is no doubt that Manchester United's squad would benefit from Jelavic being there alongside other unsettled Everton stars Fellaini and Baines.
In the first game of the season Manchester United were beaten by the Goodison outfit and it is Sir Alex's belief that Everton had done this by using talented players who could be playing at richer clubs. Premiership officials are looking into whether this is actually an illegal tactic from the heavily in debt Everton team, but Sir Alex has decided to make his own move.
It seems Jelavic is now certain to join the exodus of players from Goodison Park
that started with Cahill and Yobo, proving every Everton player is available for around 1m.
When asked about whether Manchester United were a successful team the World Cup star now playing at cash strapped, unpopular Everton replied that they were.
Pushed to clarify the situation and say that there was no way in any circumstances that he would leave Everton the Croatian shrugged and said something that very roughly translated as 'why would i say that to you.'
Jelavic is available for around 4million and David Moyes has not said he won't sell him to Manchester United."
Sorry guys but looks like its goodbye to Jela
