He wasn't played for a minute during Euro 2012 when he was clearly one of the best players Ireland had, and probably now the best player Ireland has.
I wouldn't play under Trapattoni either.

i agree JXG mate, i like the fact Gibson has some principles. he wasnt good enough in the summer, and if he wasnt then, he probably thinks why should he be now. More footballers should have this attitude imo, like the ones that got left out of the 2010 world cup squad because b'cos the likes of Jamie Caragher thought it was ok to come back for a couple of games -
