MB, ive said this before, and i will say it again, i live in York, i will get to as many games as i can cos i love watching my team, however, you dont know how lucky you are being able to just pop down the road to i presume every home game?? I would love to be in a situation where i could get every saturday, but a combination of work and finances doesnt allow it unfortunately! I wish i did live closer, cos i would hardly miss a game, so your a lucky one imo, and if i were in your shoes, i would show a little bit of sympathy for those who couldnt get to the matches as often as i could, cos wherever you are from, theres not many better feelings than going to Goodison and getting behind the team :).

I only do it to wind people up I'm not daft I know support outside the city is just as important as the ones in it

I just find it curious that whenever you mention 'wools' and that they all come out the woodwork with all guns blazing its like a superiority complex malfunction (not naming names) as you can tell by their replies.

Nobody has to explain themselves to nobody you're either evertonian or you aren't

Its probably cos we feel like we arnt doing our part, when in reality we probably are! ;)

Maybe because wools aren't so caught up in the thick of it. Maybe from further a field you can see the wood from the trees.

...also the standard of education would appear to be vastly superior too.

As far as I'm concerned though, I would like to see a change of board. A new owner, new stadium, higher wages and a plethora of exotic sounding forgien strikers too.

But if that is not forth coming right now, then I'm not all that keen on listening to the incessant whining of a couple of scallies who couldn't read a bank statement let alone a safe harbor agreement.

ooooh catty , and you don't need to be able to read a bank statement to realise when youre being fu'cked over

I don't think many wools opinions are valid anyway they don't go the game like yourself so why do you all need a say ?

Was only pulling you leg, take offence if you choose too.

I'm completely unfussed as to your opinion of wools and whether or not they should have a say. Premiership clubs these days need to foster a global fan base to compete and that is the long and the short of it.

But the facts are that people on the internet will whine about this, that and the other conspiracy. And others will roll their eyes. And some, will continue about their business and maybe amass enough money to think about buying a football club. Good luck to those that do I say, they are very much in need it!

I think I've known of you long enough to realise this by now TC

And I know I just posted that I was on the wool wind up before and know the need for a bigger fanbase is needed to even  to compete for the top 6

what never cease to amaze me ..is that if kenwright as "people" keep stating.... "he will not tell anyone how much the club is up for sale for "....then how come they can state" he and his cronies want too much for the club" .....hoe do they know this if he wont tell anyone ?

    i only ask...

    Agreed.

About a year and a half I was doing business with a broker who was introducing investors to our company. He also introduced us to some big players in the Real Estate sector. We got talking about football and my passion for Everton when he told me that he introduced American investors to BK but the deal never went through. The reason was that Bill was more interested in finding out whether they had passion for Everton. The guy toldme that it was more like a trivia quiz than a business meeting. He said they did not even discuss money as the investors had no interest in Everton's past and **** off to speak to Newcastle.

I don't think BK wants too much money but is more interested in handing over to a true blue and it is this naivety that is the problem and that is probably why he is now insisting on staying as chairman. I half agree with his thoughts because living in the Middle East know that Man C is a ticking timebomb and the owners will lose interest and find a new toy leaving City crippled.

I don't think BK is trying to milk the Club dry or has some form of hidden agenda but do question his ability to broker the right deal.

I wish I knew - that, and details of what bids have been made over the years - but from a business point of view BK will not publically advertise the minimum amount he'd settle for - I imagine he wants to make a profit on his investment. Can't blame him for that, but you have to admit that over the years there have been some massive let downs - King's Dock, Fortress and the infamous 'Watch this space' being the most memorable.

I wonder if BK would be happy if he was able to get away just having broken even?

without details of what he paid for it no one knows what breakeven would be.......i would suggest...to the right buyer,,,, he would be prepared to take a loss...afterall this is the only way it's going to be sold...IMO....

The KEY QUESTION for me is....WHO/HOW DOES HE DEEM TO THEM TO BE THE RIGHT BUYER................?

A good question too KHL...I hope he's not being too picky. But I can't imagine there a large number of would-be buyers queuing up, we're just not that attractive an investment.

Interesting thought about him selling at a loss....if he did, then maybe those convinced he isn't a true Evertonian would change their minds.

I ASKED YOU AS 1) it's your original post 2) you were the one replying..Just because other clubs have done it doesn't mean we have to......

I actually agree with your point...we should make it known the asking price to generate interest....what we dont knowis if the club has done this in certain circles...

However my original point was ...and i repeat...why do these people/groups keep stating this fact when they obviously dont know ?

PS bit of jealousy creeping in there eh ?

If they protest after the game then it will be okay, but not during the match when we need to support our team. As I say, after the match will be okay as long as we support the team during the match.
