All on the pitch at the same time, we were 1-0 down and 18 mins to go.........

I partly agree hibbert and Neville can only play the basic pass and that usually isn't forward. They have there uses but I think we need to be thinking more attack minded when the options available.

I can't knock ossie great attitude same as others you mentioned bar victor.

Three of those four were on the pitch against Manure and we won.

We beat Utd and Villa because we played well and they played lousy. West Brom beat us because they played well and we played lousy. The sucessful clubs are the ones who play well more often than they play lousy. As long as we can avoid playing lousy too often we will be ok.

Great, the allseeingeye semen stain appears once again when ONE result wasn't a good one. Please return the cave you live in. Yes it was a poor performance but it happens. The players admit, the manager admits and we all saw it. They'll get back on track again soon enough.

whwhat a load of cobblers this thread is.

hibbo is one of our best players, his crosses have contributed to goals already this season and he was the only player making any in this match.

we were out-muscled in every dept of the game. wba are a big, strong side, even felli couldnt get anywhere, which rather shows his limitations. once gibson was off our  mid-field muscle was much reduced. he should have been replaced by jonnyH, who know how to assert his personality.

midfielders like ossie and piennar are too small to have much impact against sides like wba, which i suspect is why anichebe was played. he has the physical strength to compete.

but none of the strikers had much in the way of service because the midfield was so poor.

it was a weak display and we need to do a lot better than that.

Getting tired of this crap that Neville is crap in midfield, admittedly he's not brilliant but did a top job against United.

Allseeingeye, you appear to have forgotten Mirralas, Naismith, Distin, Pienaar, Fellaini, Jags, Howard, Baines and anyone else I missed who also played and didn't do enough to win the game. Why single them out, they were no better or worse than anyone else.
Distin had a mare, Pienaar gave the ball away more times than I can ever remember him doing it in that first half, Fellaini constantly out muscled, but don't let reality influence your need to have a go at the usual scape goats.
They were better than us, and then they bought their best player on.. We subsequently lost. No subs would of changed that in fact Moyes was right, should of gone for 0-0 and counter attacked hoping to sneak a goal, we didn't, we went for it and they showed us why all out attack is never going to be the answer.
