Seeing them across the park, Blackburn, villa etc against how we go about our business and have finally put together a team that can really compete. I'm not sure I want sum mega wealthy take over, I'm used to, and quite like being the team that gets appreciation from other fans cus we play for each other and play pretty damn good football. They can't keep saying we are always punching above ourselves cus we do it season in and season out. Would be nice to get some good investment but no billionaire.

    Just my thoughts like..........

This is what I wrote 12 months ago - and I stick by it even more now!

I wonder at the end of this season how many owners and club chairmen will be looking at Everton with envy and asking their managers - why they want so much money? - why are they paying over the odds for players? - where are the results?
The financial bubble in football has to burst one day and I think our club will be the one to set the trend in the future. Get football back in the land of reality.
We don't need some unknown Arabs or Russians playing monopoly with our great club. We will do it the way it should be done and for the sake of the game.
I sometimes think this is always on DM's mind that he will do it the way it should be done. Let's face it, there is nobody out there doing a better job and I for one am proud to be an Evertonian with him as our manager. I also believe that BK is a traditional Chairman and works well with DM.
If all this seems a touch "old fashioned" then so be it - but I have supported Everton for over 50 years and cannot get my head round all this protesting, blue union, banner waving clowns -
Call yerself Evertonians - get behind your team and be proud of who we are and what we achieve year after year without the "pot of gold".

I'm not quite 50 yrs buddy, only 35 but I couldn't agree more. Blue and proud. Think the rs are in a very similar position to what we were 5 yrs ago (hope so anyway) so it will be interesting to see how they cope. Can't see Brenda doing as fantastic job as Moyes. Imwt.
