Phil Neville for me, yeah he's manure through and through, but he wears his heart on his sleave and gives his everytohng nearly every much.....i was sceptical when we bought him but value for money, he has to be right up there for me :)

    Arteta.

2.2 million. Was great for the club for a good number of years, its clear we had him at his best. Sold at 29 for 10million.

There are quite a few good buys. Lescott for the money, Arteta for the same and what he gave us in his time (forgetting the lack of ability in corners and free kicks).

Cahill for me is the best 1.5 mill and storming player .

There are several signings who there's nothing between - I have no idea to to pick just one!

All bar a small handful have been very good signings! Even the likes of Kevin Kilbane was excellent value for a club trying to stretch every penny as far as possible at the time we bought him (deja vu)

I forgot all about him, he signed for a nominal fee as well.

    Arteta.

A footballer in the true sense.

Epitomised all that EFC has ever stood for.

Not at all mate, you just seem REALLY REALLY gutted about his departure, and if i could do something to cheer you up mate i would, hence my comment above :).

I think its great that you have that much loyalty (if thats the right word) towards a player, i dont really get attached to them nowadays (probably since Rooney left tbh, it killed the dream for me)  so i kind of understand how you feel about Arteta leaving, i think its really nice if you want me to be honest :)
