Would anyone miss international football?

If all forms of international football got cancelled would any mourn it's death? The 2022 World Cup (in Qatar) is the epitome of why International football is a joke. It gets in the way of domestic football and if you ask anyone who was/is their footballing hero they would say a player that played for their club NOT country!

Qatar is just of Saudi Arabia and it's too hot play football in the summer. And international football is a joke because except for the Euros finals and the World Cup finals it's so f*cking boring!

Oh yeah, it's also a joke because our best player Baines got injured just so he could sit on the bench against Wales and Bulgaria!

I hate internationals, I hate England and I hate the FA, I would celebrate if we no longer had to have f*****g international breaks.

there's to much footbal, players well overpaid, football needs to be restructed, give the clubs the power back, and **** all agents off.

Its the 2018 world cup final, theres 12 minutes left, England lead Brazil 1-0, the games finely balanced.....would you be on the edge of your seat hoping we hang on, would you be willing the side on to win?? Im guessing the answers yes, so, yes, we would miss international football.....:)

During ALL International games I tend to support the team with Everton player(s) on. If England we're beating Brazil that hypothetical fixture and Barkley scored then yes I would enjoy in otherwise not really. If England we're winning 1-0 and Brazil had an Everton player and England didn't I'd be supporting Brazil.

And If England we're drawing and a Liverpool player scored an O.G. for England then I would be p|ssing myself laughing!

hahahahahahahaahahahahahaha! the difference between me and you dan, i just about remember when international football meant something, we have lost a generation of england fans for me since probably 96' when money was really starting to take over the game, and things just havnt been the same since for getting behind the nation. nobody seems to care anymore.

Some of my best footballing memories were watching ENgland at the world cup in 1990, gazza being instrumental, lineker knowing where the onion bag was, waddles craft, pearces heart, that was right up there with the 95 cup final for me for footballing memories :)

That's true. These days, most England internationals seem to be a pr|ck on a regular basis. Well lets just say they keep making the wrong side or the paper for all the wrong reasons.

like a few on here, i tend to favour the countries with our players in. the last world cup finals were very funny. USA v england was so funny, when green made that howler i p***ed myself laughing and went a bit mad celebrating, almost getting thrown out of my local!!! but i hate most of the england players, the passion has gone. we all remember 1990 etc.its not the same anymore, so i wouldnt miss international football that much....................
