How do you think supporters' meetings and protest marches are gonna make a Billionaire want to buy a company with no assets other than players, debts approaching £100 Million when you include the mortgages, an ancient stadium, and living in the shadow of one of the Worlds most popular clubs (spit!)?

If a protest is to go ahead, have you considered the impact it may have in concern of on pitch performances and how it may unsettle players?

Does the election of Dave Kelly (KEIOC) as Chair signal that the BU will be taking a harder anti board stance?
Does the election of Dave Kelly signal that KEIOC have, all but in name, taken over the BU?

I'm not anti board, but I certainly don't want this board to continue the custodianship of Everton on a never ending basis. How can you convince someone like me to throw my lot in with you, when even the mildest of praise for the board is met with derision by the more hard line anti board element?

Have you considered having the protest after the Villa game as it might have less impact on players morale ?

What exactly are you trying to achieve?  If its to oust the board with the intention to finding a buyer, do you think protests during & before the games is the way to do it?  I think not. PS DONT REFER TO YOURSELVES AS 'REAL EVERTONIANS' JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR SELF FORMATION OF THE BLUE UNION AS THERE ARE SOME VERY REAL EVERTONIANS WHO DONT AGREE WITH YOU CAUSE

Do you think that we sold Arteta because the banks wanted the money? Because that is far from true as Arteta said himself that BK wanted him to stay.

We already have a board in place that wants to sell the club so what difference would an interim board make?

The BU originial aim on 1 August was (forgive the lengthy post):

    • That the group would be open to all supporters /members of its constituent parts (Evertonians 4 Change, KEIOC, The Peoples Group and SOS 1878). This is not an exhaustive list and hopefully will include representatives from other like minded groups of Evertonians.
    • That the group will be totally opposed to all forms of discrimination, sexism, would tow the line of no political party, would actively work against sectarianism and would seek to foster an agenda of tolerance and harmony.
    • That the group would actively embark on a campaign to lobby local, regional and national media outlets to report on the true facts surrounding the stagnation of Everton Football Club, the lack of transparency and accountability within “The Peoples Club” (a moniker, tellingly, that the club have ceased to promote).
    • That all forms of peaceful protest would be considered.
    • That we would assist the Owner, the Chairman, the Board and the Executive Officers in their endeavours to attract investment and/or a take over of the Club.
    • That we would work with all interested parties to resolve the longstanding Stadium issue.
    • We would campaign to elect a Fans Parliament that would be representative of all sections of our fan base and, crucially, be an entity that is elected and not selected. Furthermore the meetings should and must be free and independent from outside influence and in having it’s agenda dictated by the owners of Everton Football Club.
    • That the Fans Parliament would be wholly accountable to all supporters with contact details of all representatives and minutes of meetings put into the public domain as a matter of habit and course.

    In an interview with the local paper Dave Kelly was quoted as saying;

"In order to allow the CEO to concentrate on reducing costs, developing our own revenue streams and repairing relations with the fan-base, the board must now appoint a fully autonomous group of professionals who can effectively develop and implement a strategy to identify and sell the club to a buyer who can demonstrate an ability and desire to take the club forward on both a commercial and football level.”

Is this the personal view of your Chair or has the BU now changed its mutual aims to a single proposal. When was this decided and do all the constituent members of the BU agree with the change?
