    WE ARE SCREWED. Well at least we've got someone who can comfortably play at left back now in Drenthe if he isn't fit for the weekend.

    Just heard on talksport that it's a hamstring injury so he could be out for up to a month i'd imagine. The FA should start looking into the England training plan because England regularly seem to pick up muscle strains during training which suggests they don't warm up to a high enough standard.

    Or maybe because baines is never rested enough at club level.


    If you continue to play at the level baines has been playing for the last couple of years, you pay for it with injuries later in your career.

    But how could be possibly rest our best player? I see your point but we have no other recognised left back.

    Baines doesnt play champions league games though does he at all, so im sure it balances itself out kidda ;)
