Moyes said he will replace Arteta in January but TBH I think Kenwright said he could have "a chunk" of that money because by January we might of forgot he said that.

I wouldn't even bother trying to replace Arteta as I could se Rodders or Ossy easily taking his place and perhaps doing a better job (espcially in Ossy's case). Billy could also fill the gap, but I would rather see Billy getting a start right behind the striker, with Cahill being used as a sub for that position. And as for Barkley, he could play on the wing til he's ready for centre or attacking mid, or even stay on the wing if he's better than mustard :)

I just think we have an abundance of potentially good midfielders, so in my oppinion, trying to replace Arteta by making a new purchase would almost be wasted money.

Would rather see us buy a cheap striker with good potential like Benteke, or just hold out til the summer and use the money to buy Stracqualursi if he has had a good season.

    £10mil for Arteta
    £4mil Beckford
    £1.5mil Yakubu
    £2.5mil Vaughan
    £3mil Pienaar

If that's all gone to the back that's £21mil of our £43mil debt. At least we'll be in a position to barrow again

i think mate, from what ive heard, and i dont know whats for the best tbh, but now that we have paid some money to the bank, they are willing to allow us to spend again.....

kind of like if you maxed your credit card out, then paid 400 quid off it, you would be able to spend again. this is the impression im getting anyway.....
