His contract is up in 2 years time, I doubt he will leave before then but does anyone think he will sign a new deal? I think he earns £70k a week, obviously BK will want him to stay but how could we give more money than what he already earns? Are finances are not good at all so I wonder if there is any chance of him signing a new one?

Think it needs to be on reduced terms, 50k a week, cappello is ok 60k a week to put it in perspective, but he is the england manager!

We need something to make him sign a new deal, and as far as I am concerned, the only thing that will do that is investment.

yes, he gets paid well, who else is going to pay him what we do unless heads to one of the top 4 or 5 and who needs him out of the top 4 or 5 to manage them??

They would be the only possibility for me mate, but even then its a side step as opposed to a step up

But if he went to Spurs he would probably have money to spend, and this is something we can't give him.

I reckon he will go and why not?  Given us over 12 years by then with no money to spend, why not move on??

I dont care how much wages he is on, he deserves it for doing what he does, who else could have got that team last year to 7th???

But it will be a job where he will be allowed to spend...

Only team he would go to in Scotland would be Celtic... England, maybe a London team or depends on Sir Alex....

With the team we have and a manager like we have I don't think money is everything, but Unfortunetly we have no money and we need money to be ambitious.

Yes KM this is true...who knows, Moyes might go and we might get an even better manager who takes the club more forward than DM, we just dont know! A few more quid to spend would be good, i dont deny that, but in the next 2 years we might get it and he might stay!

i doubt it, unless we get some finance into the club, if there was a takeover, he would be shown the door.

It depends who takes us over. If a Billionaire like Abramovich takes over than he could be sacked unless we have instant success, but he should be okay if someone invests and BK remains as chairman.

its the norm, with these billionaires, they would bring in a high profile manager, from the continent probally.
