Having been away traveling for most of the past 4 months, which was an unbelievable experience, I haven't been at home for a proper Everton match since Stoke on the 1st of May! Have had serious club football withdrawal symptoms and can't tell you how relieved I am to be back and be able to tune in to sky sports where Football is the main sport. Was traveling on a bus from Boston to New York when the Everton United match was on and when we got to the place we stayed in, could only tune into ESPN sports news. They showed 2mins of United chances and just our goal. Made it look like they were all over us despite reading online we had pretty much dominated the match. Anyway, feels good to be back and blue. Bring on Villa tomorrow and I may get over to Goodison soon! It truly is an addiction

Cheers lad. Especially after the fact I found out about the shooting at Empire State Building just this morning. A place I visited around the same time of day just two days ago! Some things make you think eh?

Hows things Milk. Been all over. Started in San Francisco taking in the Golden Gate Bridge by bike and Alcatraz. Then picked up some cars and drove to Lake Tahoe. Beautiful place. Camped one night there with the bears and spent a night in a cabin too. Took some kayaks out on the lake too. Stunning views. Same can be said about Yosemite where we went hiking. Then had a long 8 hour drive to LA. Bit of a crazy place but good to see Hollywood and all that just for a day. Took in Venice and Huntington beaches too where I got meself a deadly tan. San Diego was next and had great craic on nights out there with the people. Class city. Seaworld was good fun too. Then it was the big one.. Vegas! Fortunately didn't run into Harry. Couldn't afford to go all out myself with drinks at $12-15 a pop! Also drove out to the Grand Canyon. Again some view! After that 11 of our party went home and 3 were left. Realised how expensive to stay on the east coast it was going to be so moved our flights forward to save money! Spent a few days in Boston and got to see Fenway Park and Harvard and finally New York. Did everything there and now I'm home. You probably wanted the shorter version but sure I'll probably never have a Summer like that again! Good to be home again though. Pints and football this weekend

I would be happy with a longer version lid.

Feel everyone should experience as much of this world as possible as your only here for a short time and its a big world.

    Glad you enjoyed it.

    How was the food

Am glad I took in Australia and America in the same year despite taking almost everything I earned in work for the last while. No regrets whatsoever. Glad I did it now before I had any major ties keeping me at home!
To be honest... food was crap! Looking forward to some proper spuds I got myself for tonight. Also some lamb chops and fresh veggies. Sick of the french fries and processed food stuffs! Back to a healthier way of living again... well sort of!

Glad you had a nice trip to the States and have seen alot of great cities. I've been to many of those places myself, including Australia, London and Paris. However, I want to stick up for the food here. If the only thing you found were fries and processed foods, you've looked in the wrong places. The sea food in San Francisco and Boston is truely amazing. Also, the North End in boston and Little Italy in NYC has some of the best Italian i've had. Next time you come over, look me up. I'll show you around Buffalo and southern Ontario and some of the great local food that I have in my back yard. Congrats on the trip!

Thanks. I know I shouldn't be too critical of the food. I was on a budget and traveling around a lot though and the places I went to were quick cheap meals... not necessarily all fast food but  similar. Would've liked to been able to try some of those places though. I'll keep it in mind if I ever return cheers.
