Agreed. Going to be interesting with Mirallas debut as well.

If we play like we did yesterday I think we'll be fine. Consistency is key.

With us playing well I think Moyes will start the same XI therefore Mirallas will only be a sub (me thinks).

I concur. His debut will come via substitution.

I'd like to see a 4-3-1-2 formation eventually, with Mirallas and J up front trailed by Feli.

I agree, he'll at least start on the bench in my opinion.

Would love to see Mirallas on the right, with Jelly up front and Naismith just behind him.
Think Villa will struggle this season, I expect us to get at least a point on Saturday.

I like smitty off the bench- helps our depth.

Keep Feli at CAM. He's a load for defenders and creates so many mismatches on and off the ball.

I think it will be a totally different game, Villa will look to park the team bus in goal and catch us on the break. United let us attack by playing attacking football of their own but looking at Villa I think there in trouble this year so they would probably take a draw against Everton even at home.

I just hope we get off to a good start and try possession football to break them down, get an early lead and force them to attack so we can nick a second or third goal. I remember us playing them over the August bank holiday a few seasons back in a game we totally dominated yet lost.

villa consistently play under their level of talent, but then again we always seem to play to the level of our opponent...

I don't think playing Fellaini in CAM will work in every game. Give Naismith a start or put Mirallas on the right and see what he's made of.
Don't see us struggling at all really, just got to keep up this level of intensity that we showed against United into the Villa game and beyond.

i Agree mate, he has his good games there and it worked well the other night, be with him and Gibson bossing the midfield we need some one a bit more creative behind the striker....

I understand why he played there on Monday night but I'd prefer him in the middle with gibbo and the magic 4 of Mirallas on the right , pienaar on the left and Naismith behind jelavic

I would go for Osman before Naismith behind Jelavic, his understanding with Pienaar was a massive bonus on Monday and didn't really get much of a mention

We've been a better team than Villa every year for near 10 years now but I can only remember us winning there once in that time!

Bogey opponent - both home and away!

They'll come close to going down - might even go down. Their manager of last season wasn't their big problem and sacking him won't solve their big problems. But I'm still nervous about this one!

I do think fella should start just behind jelavic again against villa my reasoning being that villa have a new centre back called Vlaar who made his debut against the hammers. He was ripped apart by Carlton Cole throughout the match so if Carlton can bully this guy and outplay him then fella and jela should rip him apart ;-)

I would say you cant change Mondays team, but we need to attack a poor villa side so we are going to have to.

    Howard
    Hibbert Jags Distin Baines
    Mirallas Fellaini Osman Pienaar
    Naismith Jelavic

good chance to push on, villa players will still be adopting to a totally different style of football than last year (although i heard stephen ireland talking about how much he was enjoying their new style, and Bent is back now for them).....
i think we have a team better suited to playing away than at home (if that makes any sense), so i'm as confident as you can be about saturday.......hopefully some chances fall to Jelavic, who may find himself a marked man this season....

don't see Moyes changing the team from monday night....Mirallas & Naismith will come off the bench......
