    As it seems pretty much nailed on for the forseeable future that the spending power of Chelski, Shitteh and the massive fan base of Manure giving them massive profits every year, that 1 of these 3 teams will win the league for at least the next 5 years imo......why dont the fa make the league more interesting, instead of 4th place automatically being a CL place, make 4th,5th,6th and 7th into a play off at the end of the season, winner of the play off final gets the champions league place and wins a 'play off' trophy', all games take place at wembley etc, and it would give a predictable premier league added interest.

    not a bad idea, but i don't think it'd ever happen but i'm not knocking it, would definately make end of season more interesting as all teams dependant of the cup results would get european football anyway

    I thought the idea was put forward a couple of years ago and Everton was one of the ones against the idea. I think it had alot to do with there being too many games already in league, Champions League final in way and internationals.

    Markie, is is about time the FA CUP was evolved then? No more replays, so the game is finished on the day it is played? Is it about time the league cup was either scrapped or the teams that play in the CL dont enter the competition?

    I think the powers that be, need to take a look at things and start to evolve the the game, its tarting to become stuck in the ark ages and its time to start taking it into the future again like they did with the start of the premier league 20years ago!
