    AC Milan are ready to step up their efforts to sign Arsenal and Everton target M’Baye Niang.

    Niang is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in French football after he became the second youngest scorer in Ligue 1 history last year.

    The 17-year-old, who is on the books at French club Caen, underwent a trial at Arsenal earlier this summer, and was thought to have been the subject of an offer from Everton last week after meeting with manager David Moyes.

    But the Premier League pair are now in danger of missing out on the talented France Under-21 international.

    Despite recent reports that Milan’s interest in the forward had cooled, Italian news site Calciomercatonews.com claims that the Serie A club have asked to take Niang on loan with the option to sign him permanently for £2.4million.

    However, Caen are demanding £3.2m for the permanent sale of the forward, who has been dubbed the ‘new Thierry Henry’.

    He might not be all that, I believe that we had him on trial so we have seen what he has to offer.

    Been reading elsewhere that we are in negotiations for him, he'd be better off with us than kicking his heels in italy that's for sure
