We have shifted some dead wood and signed some great players since January. Probably got the best 13/14 players for years but we're gonna struggle if we get injuries. We need at least 3 more players and the youngsters to step up.

We have some good youngsters who look ready to feature for the first team, so I think we're okay really. I wouldn't loan out Vellios or Barkley though, because we would be short if we let them go.

Yeh bit suprised to hear Moyes talking about loaning out Ross. Surely he's in with a great chance of starting games. Anyone know which other youngsters could break through this season. Garbutt? (If Baines gets injured) Browning? Lundstram?

Comparing what we have now to what we had on Sept 1st last season, We've lost 6 players from that lot who had played even a slight part of last season - and replaced them with 6 better (in come case much better) players....and we have no loans yet.

So I'm not too worried yet. I think there will be a 2 or 3 more players coming and we have Barkley, Gueye, Duffy and Vellios a year futher developed (on the other hand we have Neville and Distin a year older).

I do want us to prioritize a replacement for marcus hahnemann though. Hopefully like Hahnemann was, it would be a 'keeper we'd never have to use. But we're vunerable in that an injury to Howard is all it would take to potentially destroy our season! Mucha is a clown!

After that - I will be getting anxious to see Moyes himself signing up!

We haven't got that many centre midfielders. I think he will play more regularly this season

Agreed! We are totally short of quantity. The situation will look awful if two or more first team players get injured.
