    I think the accounts for the EPL are probably the most relevant, and even then the ones for the last 10 years say. 

    the EPL changed football in england profoundly. not for the better in my opinion. its the **** child of greed and avarice and should have been strangled at birth.

    costs have gone up so much that only the richest clubs can win the league. in the first division days there was a lot more competition.

    MONEY, is controlling the premier league, and ONLY the rich can and will succeed when it comes to winning trophies.

    Before it became the Barclays Premier League, everybody had a chance when it was the old first division, cos money didnt control things as much as it does now.

    Its frustrating. For everyone, And all the protesting and kicking off in the world wont change the fact that unless we get a billionaire owner it will ALWAYS be hard for us to compete for the league unfortuantely :(

    and for most other clubs. so the question is, why not quit the epl and form a league under the auspices of the fa?

    How long is it into the future mate when fans slowly stop going to games, they know what the outcome of the league is before it even starts, its so predictable its untrue? Something needs to be done to make the league more competitive, i dont have the answers, but something needs to be done imo, as its jsut becoming mundane, manu, chelski, shitteh will win the league, one of those 3 or the rs or assanal will win the fa cup, same with the league cup, every 5 years somebody outside of those 5 teams might win one of the cups. and unless every other team in the premier league gets billionaire owners, when is it going to change???
